Excellent KK

Priority 1 is get a road bike, most important thing is you get one that fits properly.
Priority 2, start riding your bike, lots and lots
Priority 3, get some 1-2-1 swimming lessions. 6-8 lessons over 2-3 months should see you develop a reasonably compitent FC technique. Can be a bit frustrating learning (like learning to drive) but youll get sudden breakthroughs. You dont need to worry about a wetty till next year (March) just before open water practise starts.
Priority 4, ask lots and lots and lots of questions.
Priority 5, complete Ironman Nice and feel on top of the world.
