I won my first-ever race prize today. And it was twice as much as it would have been if I'd only been the age I was five years ago (besides, five years ago I was a minute per kilometre slower over the same distance).
It's a voucher for a sports shop so all I can contribute to the party are Lucozade Sport and SiS Go Bars.
How did I run without a Garmin? Can't believe I could only do routes that I could measure with the car odometer!
