Nail varnish remover hasn't worked.
It is a pastel blue actually Saffy give me some credit.

I have googled and there are loads of suggestions and most are for NVR

I appear to have lost the ability to C&P so I cant paste them in !!

Apparently nail varnish remove will spread it. Window cleaner seems a popular remedy

Nail Varnish remover will work if you wet the stain first but it may also take the colour out of your carpets!

Clearly the only way to sort this is to move the furniture round to cover it.

And how did you manage to spill nail varnish ???

Well it's out! A combination of CIF and dilute bleach.
As for how it got there I can honestly say it was entirely innocent.

Nobody ever suggested otherwise Mr. P.  There is nothing wrong with men wearing nail varnish and it is hard to do your toenails without making a mess
