I'm going to Leeds in an hour
1) Anyone else going to Leeds
2) If not Leeds.Where are you going ?
I'm going to Leeds on Monday, if that helps
I'll tell you what its like you may decide not to go !
I know what it's like !!
It's a barren wasteland, made up of miserable yorkies, The only decent thing to come out of Leeds is the M62 !
(Sadly it's where Sprog 3 lives)
I'm going to Guildford
Ahh Guildford the centre of the universe, if you believe the company I used to work for !!
Leeds isn't THAT bad! It's nicer than Bradford!!!
Lived there for 3 years until I moved to Horrogate which is smaller and quieter. But I did like living in Leeds, some great places to go! And I'm a soft southerner too!
I'm going to Swindon tomorrow (via Leeds) and then on Thursday I'm going to Plymouth. Yippee!!!
I went to Leeds last year to watch the footie. Today I am going to Bristol.
It's in Yorkshire... Of course it's bad !!!
I'm going to Liverpool. To sit outside your house.
Nooo...Yorkshire is lovely. Most of it. I'll admit Bradford, Huddersfield and Halifax are not great, and as for Hull...well.
But Yorkshire is pretty and wild and a bit, well, pretty.
Pretty and wild ?
You mean bleak and desolate surely ?????
Yorkshire is gorgeous. I love the dales.
well some bits are bleak and desolate too...but even they have some beauty to them. North Yorkshire is gorgeous, huge swathes of hills and valleys, whacking great acres of gorgeous moorland. It's taken me until this summer to really appreciate how bloody beautiful it can be...and it is.
now...tell me that isn't stunning?!
Nope... Don't get it all, How can anywhere populated by grumpy tykes with chips on thier shoulder be stunning ?
Now the sweep of the M62 down hill across Saddleworth Moor, Now that is awesome
HEATHCLIFF! *throws self on ground in a melodramatic fashion*

Oh sod the people...its the sheer vastness that gets me! Although I am in agreement with Saddleworth Moor. Wild and bleak and very beautiful!
I'm in Dublin, it's the home of Guinness.
I am happy
and most of it the right side of the border !!!
Gaz - I believe the phrase is "well jel"
