UCL (her dream place) have offered Annie the PhD she was wanting.. Looks like me and the M1 are going to get reacquainted
Great news, many congrats to Annie.
Gentle bimble round Manley last night, saw young Cougie, and then off for a meal with TLS and Sprogs 2 & 4.....
Nice little plod for me as well. Off to COLT running tonight, swimming tomorrow, and then 3 days of biking and then it's all done and dusted.
Can't wait for the 1st July
We're away Fri / Sat to celebrate Suzies b/day, So I'm hoping to get one more long bike session in on Sunday, Weather permitting
Good stuff - where you off to?
RHS Harlow Carr.. another posh garden for Sue to dream about owning and me to take photos !
It's just outside Harrogate in that God-less place over the border !!
We are staying at a fancy place, It is billed as "A restaurant with rooms" It has 2 Michelin stars, and 4 suites for over night stays.... Yes I could have bought most of a new Cervélo frame for what it costs ! But it is a birthday treat for TLS
Sounds really nice - I like Harroaget and the surrounding area even if it is in the badlands.
Enjoy, and hope the weather stays good for the garden visit.
and we have afternoon tea booked at Betty's Tea Rooms on Saturday
very nice - Em will be very jealous.
They do Betty Tea Room gift vouchers, and even mail order if you are need of a prezzie anytime
I know, have ordered cake before
Michelin stared food scoffed.... Betty's afternoon tea scoffedd (even if they did ask for an extra 45p cos I had coffee, Who says Yorkies are tight ?)
Sadly got a stinking cold and flu like symptoms, aching joints etc...
Not helped by leaving home at 5am to drive up to Whitehaven this morning..
I should be in Gay Pareee with Min...
Glad you had a nice weekend and hope you feel better soon mate.
Went to bed at 8 last night...... Hows that for feeling carp ?
If I had known you weregetting into domesticity and such I could have picked you up a cheap whippet
Don't worry it won't last.
12 hours in Cumbria interspersed with 4 hours on the M6 !
Still got this stinking cold, woke up in the night with shivers etc......
