Hey it's 6 months next week since I gave up the weed !!!! (Wasn't even tempted over the Crimbo hol's.......... Suzie asked me Saturday night in the pub was I missing having a smoke..... I'd forgotten all about them !)

I can't understand why anyone smokes. Mrs FF and myself went along to a support meeting at the Roy Castle Centre a few months ago. The subject of smoking bans came up and this elderly lady was saying that she thought it was a disgrace that people weren't allowed to smoke where they wanted to smoke. This was from someone who has lung cancer. UNBELIEVABLE. I was getting more irate by the second. The chair of the meeting had to quickly change the subject as she saw the steam starting to appear out of my ears. She probably thought that I was about to to carry out my threat to ram her walking stick up her nose and set fire to it.

I smoked for nearly 30 years, and still can't explain why !!!

I did notice in the paper over the holiday, that 2 hozzies in Scouseland are having bans on smoking, and will send patients home if the carry on ...

What angers me Dave is whenever I take Nicky to Clatterbridge, directly outside the main entrance to the Oncology Unit you'll find dickheads attached to their chemo drips, in their pyjamas, smoking. These people must really be the most stupid tossers in the world.

Whilst we were in A&E last week with Suzie's eldest, there was a guy ( 50's) had a heart attack, all wired up and on oxygen... demanding that the Doctor's or Nurses found him a wheel chair, and took him outside for a smoke !!! A very young and stressed SHO snapped, and said that if She took him outside, he could stay there til he froze....... Not quite in line with the hyppocratic oath, but she almost got a round of applause

I've just found a crate of lager in my garage that I bought before Xmas and forgotten about. Was supposed to be a good boy now the New Year is here, oh well!

Hey my daughter did that Viking... When she was loading her car on Sunday afternoon, to go home, she opened the boot and found a case of Stella !!!!! She decided she better take it home, for emergencies
