Come on Team GB :)
Its when I see those athletes from those countries with barely a handful of athletes but all of them good enough to be there. Thats when I get a bit tearful, and want to say to all those naysayers who cant see the point of the Olympics.
Thats the point!
In a dreadfully unfair world this is a little bit of fair
Watching the cycling - it's all a bit tense in our house - I'm sure they know what they're doing *fingers crossed*
Well that didn't gp to plan, not a Vino fan so when i saw the game was up for the peleton i wanted Fab till he nosed dived into a barrier.
Guess controlling the whole race with just 5 people was a big ask for the GB boys
Exactly what was Uran looking at when Vinokourov went past him?
I actually laughed when I saw him look over his left shoulder.
No one told him that in England traffic passes you on your right.
TBh i don't think the pressure will be off at all, The expectation as home team is big.
No spoilers eh?
A bit of video from the cycling road races at the weekend, shot in Richmond Park:

I don't think they're UCI-approved equipment.
Ithangyoouuww.
(I'm here all week.)
they got you down from your tree, then?
Yeah, I was lured down with a Dairy Milk ice-cream on a stick.
Lets hope its going to be a golden day for Team GB today Come on GB
I'm hoping so!
I know this was only a Google away but if anyone's interested, here's the starting order for the women's and the men's TT this afternoon.
Come on Wiggo! Come on Pooley!
GOLD, get in there
And again. What a day.
Congratulations Sir Brad.
Medals are starting to stack up.
One of the heats of the women's 100m today was a perfect illustration of Stephen's point about the lesser nations. Some very slow starts and most of those athletes could likely have been beaten by any good junior from the Western world - but these athletes to me are the epitome of the Olympic ideal.
