Not quite blind - just the one eye! A temporary thing, I'll be there on the 28th of Feb.

It was lovely to meet you all. I'm just sorry I had to skulk off so early without repaying the drinks buying favour to Dogwalker and Nicky. Next time, I promise. Big Bopper, really sorry I now can't do Watford. Apparently they never received my application form (gutted) - was looking forward to running with you. I didn't get yr text

It was great to meet some of you last night and put names and faces to names! - just sorry didn't get to meet you all.....I'm definately keen for the 28th and from last night, sounds like I'll see a fair few of you in Reading....Will wait to read what I missed once a bit more alcohol had been consumed!!

Guess who fell asleep on the train and had to walk 8 miles home after a wonderful evening. Still I was sober by the time I got home. Thaznks to everyone who turned up and a big enormous MMMMWWWAAAAHHHH to caz for doing the social sec job to such a high standard.
Large virtual bunch of flowers winging their way in your direction.

Well, after getting home and drunkenly stumbling round the house at midnight, drinking loads of water and eating cereal, I woke up at 7.30, full of the joys of spring.
No hangover, nothing. There is clearly no justice.
HH, sorry I won't get to run Watford with you.
Scotty, thanks for getting me inspired again about jumping out of planes without a rope attached.
Aargh. Too many names! I had a fantastic evening, even if FANY and friend did take money from me. SquintyElfThingy, see you at the races. Caz you are a star! Etc etc etc.

Christ on a bike! Does my head hurt or what?! Haven't felt this rough in ages!

Top night last night, fantastic to see so many people out. Apologies for needing to slope off a little early again, although it was later than last time!

Hopefully see you all again (and more) on 28th. Thanks for all your hard work again Caz.

Morning all!

No shouting please! Head hurts. I'm still at Venom's (with Susie) and just starting my second coffee. V very kindly cooked us breakfast. So....

a big THANK YOU to Venom for letting me crash on his sofa and for cracking open the expensive red wine last night! Ta to you both!

I only got a few piccies last night, but V has more that he will publish later on a website, so keep 'em peeled for that.

Oh shall do a full social report when I get home later, complete with the register, I took last night :)

Didn't get a snog last night tho. Damn. Must try harder next time. (I'm way too shy in person, honest.)

Ciao

afternoon all...thanks for organising a great night Caz. good to meet you all..tho I'm still going to struggle to put names to faces! I was soooo pleased that I had to get out of bed this morning and drive down here (wales), to find no electricity or heating! 28th sounds good..see you there..or if not at Imber or Hastings (I'll be desperately trying to keep up with RichardM!)

New shortened name. It was all of my name I could remember by the time I got home last night and definitely all I could pronounce when I woke up with a hangover this morning.

Fantastic to meet you all. Well done Caz (cool fishnets by the way). And special big hugs to Jim for rescuing me from all those people glaring at me. Gavo and Dog Walker - you are not yet forgiven!!

Yep, thanks for the organisation Caz, excellent to meet everybody. Woke up at 6am with an almighty headache but two nurofen and four more hours sleep seemed to do the trick. Hopefully the residual alcohol will work its way out of my body before Regents Park 10k tomorrow morning.

Hi all,
Yep twas great to meet you all, shame I had to leave relatively early but still didn't manage to get enough sleep to deal briliantly with children all morning. Still, it's all over now thank god. At least I didn't have a hangover too!
Only made one child cry today...
01/02/2003 at 15:45
M, it's my birthday near then too. Excellent!
01/02/2003 at 16:07
Suz and I are sorry we could'nt make it last nite. Our excellent transport system & the English inability to cope with snow, put a stop to us having a drink or 2 or 3 or 4....!!!!!! Next time tho we will be there...........

Is anyone doing the Silverstone Half-marathon?
01/02/2003 at 16:14
Afternoon all (did I say that earlier?), anyway I'm home now and am about to download piccies from last. Sorry I didn't get a piccie of you all, I should have done a group pic, but ran out of memory and I was too p!ssed to think about deleting one! :)

So we'll be celebrating 3 birthdays at the next social then, mine, M's and Meggles, cool!

Sorry I didn't get to chat to everyone, but you are probably thankful for that anyway, I was talking complete crap by the end of the night and oh, slurring a good'un!

Head still sore!

Oh and thanks to whoever it was who got me water just before I left, it stopped me from chucking up!

If you would like me to email you the pics from last night, then email me and I'll send them over once they are ready. If I already have your email address then I'll email them to you anyway.

I'll get a memory card for next one so I don't run out!

Cheers and thanks for coming, it was great fun (even if I didn't get a snog).

Caz.

P.S. Register to follow later and the name and shame list too!

P.P.S. Watertight reason for not going for a run today - U.D.I. (Unidentified drunken injury) to foot, possibly from a pint glass or someone stepping on it (possibly myself). Shall go tomorrow instead. PROMISE!

Hi all

Thank you for a great night last night and for making my friend feel welcome.

I met too many to name and still didn't meet all.

I'll put the 28th in the diary.
01/02/2003 at 16:31
I'm doing Silverstone Calamity!
01/02/2003 at 16:35
I'll be there again on the 28th (now there's a surprise) but will be on the wagon by then so I'll have to check the 'Social Club' regulations on sobriety.

Got there just after WWR from what I guess, followed by Dog Walker. The tables were then cleared & Mandy W (now M) came in. DW & I looked over a few times & asked ourselves if we thought that she was 'one of us'. I'm blaming DW as I did suggest (honestly) going over and he chickened out.

Left early-ish again (things to do this morning was my feeble excuse) but will try to stay until the night bus hour next time. Good to meet all of the newbies that I managed to speak to last night as well as seeing some of the more veteran URWFRC drinkers.

If I don't see you at Wokingham or Bramley then I'll see yaz again at the end of the month.
