Scotty,
Hope the hangover is over.

Ok so heres the deal.

I won't try and convince you to run London to Brighton if you don't try and convince me to go sky diving again.

I like running on the ground and NOT IN THE AIR.

Heres to Thanet 20 anyway.

Hi guys,

Good to see everyone again, and to meet a lot of newbies. I've got loads of pictures, which (as soon as I've had a bit of time to perform some quality control) I'll post on a website.

If anyone wants to suppress potentially embarassing photos of themselves, I'm open to bribes. To anyone who wants to view said suppressed photos, I'm open to larger bribes as well...

great night everyone! Unfortunatly I wasn't one of the lucky ones to be hangoverless on Saturday so spent the majority of the day trying to work out how to string a sentence together!! one for the record...I managed to wake myself up on the way home by hitting my head on the seat in front on the bus... so it must have been a a great night!!

not looking forward to the photos...

Hi to everyone I met on Friday - Caz, Sweeper, Snoop, Spans, Venom, Fat Sam, Ashley, M, and all the others who's names I can't remember. In particular a big thank you to Snoop for looking after me when I was standing there looking lost and apprehensive when I first walked in the door. I had a really good evening despite leaving earlyish to get the train home and it was so nice to meet so many new people with something in common. I look forward to seeing you all on the 28th, especially if we have some birthdays to celebrate - plus I will just have done the first week of a new job so I'll be needing a few drinks I'm sure.

G'day folks - had a No.3 hangover Saturday a.m.

Thanks to Ash for saving me from a 12 mile walk home from end-of-the-line Sevenoaks.

Pleased to see all the newbies who made it, and who will be old hands before long.

And to the northerners who like to checkout on this thread how it should be done - 28!

Hello all....top night on Friday, good to meet everyone! I had the MOTHER of all hangovers on Sat - not that I drank huge amounts (got home feeling fairly sober) but I hadn't had any dinner.....DOH!!!

Gavo - I owe you a drink mate, how rude of me not even to offer when you'd done the Natalie Merchant CD for me! Big apologies - will buy you plenty on the 28th if you're around!

Big Bopper - I haven't forgotten you promised to sponsor me - thanks!! I'll email you.....

No hangover for me on Saturday despite a steady 5 hours or so drinking (I must be getting used to it at last).

Bit tamer than the Xmas social (or is that just me). I'll try to stay later next time to see the lot of you getting drunker & drunker while I drink my dodgy soft drinks.

Good morning all, good to see you all on Friday. I was not disappointed and did see some unusual behaviour from certain candidates who were worse for wear by the time I arrived!
03/02/2003 at 12:53
Jonathan - weren't you going to change your name (despite the lack of respect that some forumites had for your midday training)?
03/02/2003 at 12:55
not a clue what you mean

That's a rather ropey response.

Afternoon all.

Great to meet those of you that I did meet and I'll meet the rest of you at the next social.

Thanks to Caz for being social sec and organising this night out. Big XXXXXXX

Even though there was a lack of snogs for Ashley and Caz, nice to see some people getting it together. (Only problem with these gatherings is knowing whether they got it together at the social or were together before? :-))

Took me a day to recover from hangover.
Hmm perhaps I should drink more than once a month?

Great to see you and glad to hear that you fitted in so well with all of us highly trained and motivated indiviuals that worship our bodies like a temple, well ok worship them the next day when the hangover is kicking in!
