I didnt care about the age limit... in fact it made it something 'dangerous' and 'cool'.... but as I said in my previous post - it was something that happened

Lost it age 20, first year of uni. Never had much luck with girls when I was at school, I wasn't one of the cool kids (I was in the chess club).

I'm sure there will be a survey somewhere that will tell you what age people lose their virginity.

On the age-of-consent thing, it didn't bother me.  Doing things you're not supposed to do is part of being a teenager, no?

21, she was 20.  I asked her about her prior experience, she recounted about 20 (starting at 15: child of ex pats, living in far East), before I got bored; all of them were still her "good friends".  I broke up with her after about six weeks, as I was not prepared to accept her sleeping with other guys.  I was the first ex who did not remain a "good friend".  Bloody hippies.  We used to shag to Motorhead.

26, first weekend we spent together after getting together. Being shy I said I'd sleep on the couch downstairs. Didn't last, not when the damn attractive so and so came back downstairs and told me they couldn't let me sleep on the couch when there was  a perfectly good bed upstairs and that they would be good and not try anything.

I once heard a statistic which I was told to share with young people.  50% lost thier virginity by the age of 19, clearly 50% did not.  The idea was to tell children it was Ok to be a virgin, despite the bravado that surrounds nyway that statistic was the 80's, if we believe what we are told now it's 13, but actually i don't.  There are a lot less pregnant girls in schools now than there were 25-30 yrs ago.

I was 18; felt like a late starter compared to everyone else, but I wouldn't have done it any earlier.  The fact there were no opportunities prior to being 18 is a complete coincidence

I'm not sure there are more pressures now; when i was in sixth year, I heard a second year girl screaming across a classroom about shagging some guy, and she'd only have been about 13.  I think there will always be people who sleep with someone before they're ready, due to peer pressure; there will be those who want to for whatever reason, even if young, and those that want to wait a bit, for whatever reason.  I don't think that'll change.

I've done it twice, and I have two kids. At least I'm fertile!

Mine's grown back!
