Do you think something like an umade bed or two halves of pickled cow is "art", likewise a rubber tyre submarine or pile of cans?

Or, like me, do you think it's a load of tripe?

I am with you, its a load of old tripe, like that prize someone won a few years ago - the unmade bed - also had used tampons and sh*t in it as well didnt it? I never won a prize and I have had that at least 50 times over!

Some of it is trash agreed... BUT don't assume that all modern art is rubbish.

The afore mentioned bed was by Tracy Emin... can't remember if it actually won though

Here's the plan :

1,000 of us forum members donate an old pair of running shoes. We make a tall pillar out of them. Stick it in the Tate Modern and call it 'To The Moon and Back'. A year later some saddo buys it for £1000,000 and we split the cash. Hoorah !!

Let me work on the drawings first......:)

Need to expand on what form the pillar should take i.e. straight up, decorative, ornate, tree like etc.

In terms of saleability we need to find our target buyer and build accordingly.
