Great gardening Caz, I want to get out in our garden and have a bit of a hack of some unidentified shrubs.

MrKJ appears to be laid low with food poisoning so my ideas for today all got canned whilst he lay in bed and developed a close relationship with the toilet.

Sorry to hear that KJ.  Hope he recovers quickly.

Well done Saffy!

And Mr. P too - I'm not sure what the race was, but you were looking in fine form from the photos on facebook

It's been a long and strange weekend, with some good bits, some slightly odd ones and some sad ones too. I didn't see any badgers, I did play with some gorgeous doggies, I found out my uncle died a few days ago (I didn't know him well, but family is family ), and I have laryngitis.

Time for bed now, hugs to everyone - you're all mundanely wonderful

Well done to Saffy and CP on you brand spanking new hm pb's. Was obviously a day for running fast.

My 15 miler yestrerday was actually 16 miles which may explain why it hurt a bit more than it should. Last of my Sunday hockey sessions, now doing hockey on Wednesdat which means that I don't have to get up at 6:30 on a Sunday to go running.

I have a race next Saturday, 500m swim and a 5k run. I am resting this week as it seems to do me good.

So what does everyone else have planned for the week ahead?

17/09/2012 at 09:23

Morning. Fantastic effort by all you racers, well done one and all!

I am hoping to make bramble jelly this week. I also have a race on Sunday. Ladies only 10k. I feel tired just thinking about it.

Morning, ((((SOLB))))

Congrats on the PB Saffy. I too set a new H/m PB but i am still slow.

Youngster back to Drs this morning as we are on last day of anti-b's and he is still sounding bubbly when he breathes.

Morning all and hugs to ((those who need them))

MrGFB back to work today but was laid up the whole weekend - I've not seen him this sick for a very long time...he was an odd shade of green!

My plan for this week is to get back running again - having lost my mojo - it's 8 weeks to we go to Lanzarote for MrGFB's 70.3 and I'm as flabby as a jumbo pack of flab

BGD is off to uni today - I saw his schedule and it looks like fun - try outs for the university choir included

Get well wishes to little B and Mr KJ
Well done on the PBs Saffy and Tref, great running
I hope Mr gfb is feeling better gfb, and I am sure BGD will have a fab time at Uni

I really should get off the interweb and go and do something more energetic!

Ay up first off how did the halfer's do? Nice pb but did you enjoy it? also coco I've never done Maidenhead is it a good one?

KJ as bookie said we had a strange weekend won't go into all of it because not relivent to the conversation but if it helps with your daddy in law. We stayed here http://www.laneendfarmtrust.co.uk/ saturday night to test out the room they have for people who are wheelchiar bound and would find it hard to get into the peak's otherwise. Had a mostly good time there and spotted a few things about the place that need to go on the snagging list but err. One of the local famrer's has been harrasing the farm for a bit trying to get rid of the trust so he can buy the land and found out he was trying to video through the curtains at 6.30 sunday morning. Not sure what they were trying to do maybe they where expecting me and bookie to be smoking crack or something was just weiord! anouther thing to add the list of conplants for the police.

I've got so much to do, both at work and at home.  Stupid Council Tax bill has come through at last and they didn't take off the 25% single occupant discount.  Also my car is due for a service.

And I'm going to have to work late this week as I am on a training course and can't get all my work done too.

17/09/2012 at 18:45

Anyone want to chop all my hair off for me please. It is an unruly mess.

See - big concerns I have.

Hope little Pop is feeling better soon CP.

Evening all - now you didn't hear it from me...and it might be nothing - but a certain person I know might or might not have been having contractions today - could all be a false alarm (last time this happened two days before a certain little girl made an appearance...*you know nothing*

17/09/2012 at 18:55

I'm strangely excited over nothing GFB

Talking of which, I might be in Ireland in the spring.
