Tommy Welcome to mundaneland
Excellent news Saffy!
A fabulously mundane day off, which flew as days off tend to but was lovely. For those not on FB it was topped off with some brilliant news - four battered, featherless little hens are being set free from their cages on 16th December and are coming to nest in Hash Hall. There will be cheese And mealworms and apples and cabbage and EVERYTHING. Bounce bounce bounce, I'm so excited!
(((Hash))) yay for excellent chicken news.
(((Tommy))) *waves hello and welcome*
I had a day off today as well, if you don't count the 8 hrs from midnight to 8am when I was at work. I spent today sleeping. I'm slightly awake now. Ran home from work and off to play hockey soon. wow what a productive day.
Eggsellent news on the chooks Hash.
I'm most hen-vious, Hash
Good job you caught that auto-correct Bookie
*waves to Tommy* Good to see you!
Interesting day at work. I've been asked to help validate a new product before release. Fantastic, just the sort of work I love - getting in on a new project and following it through to the end rather than all the other bits I'm doing at the moment which are tying up loose ends in my predecessors work.
Then they told me that they want to release the product by the end of the month. It will take me at least 3 months to validate it
On a more satisfying note, I've been using some the stuff I learnt in my degree. Its been a long time since I've needed to use my technical knowledge.
Cake, I'm only saying any of this as you asked, so its your fault
Now that I am better, I can finally confess to being ill. For the last 5 days I have been subjected to so many wonderful friends who were worried about me and constantly checking up and fussing over me. I love all of you. Thank you.
I have been persuaded that I probably had proper flu. I was unable to even lift my head off the pillow at one point, and my arms are covered with bruises where I kept falling over and walking into walls when trying to get some water from the bathroom. No way that I was safe enough to make it down the stairs to the kitchen.
But I'm ok now. Just a bit bunged up and headachy. I think the headache is mainly from spending so much time in bed that it has caused all my back and neck muscles to go into spasm.
Carterusm, what a mundane entrance! Well done and welcome!
evening, i am still up, Mini2 is a night owl at the moment,
*waves to the mini's* Hi all
(((Carterusm))) *waves hello and welcome*(((KJ))) I'd say mini2 will grow out of it, only I didn't (((Caz))) Glad you're back on the up again.
(((SOLB))) Just 'cos
Lovely smoothie, excellent fruit stomping SOLB.
Thank you for the welcome.
FYI, I am now sitting in a chair, it is a different chair to the chair I was sitting in when I posted my comment yesterday about sitting in a chair, but it is a different chair. Later today I expect I will be sitting in the chair I posted about yesterday when I was sitting in a chair which is not the chair I am sitting in now. But it may well be a different chair. I will keep you informed
