Thank you lovely mundanies for all the hugs, I am finally feeling a bit better today, I've even had a shower and everything. Mini is coming home tonight, MrKJ is fetching her after work so I'm going to have a nap in a bit and then prepare for the arrival of my little whirlwind.

Congrats to those getting into VLM, so chuffed for you all.
I've tentatively thinking about doing a tri next June as there's one near me, I need to find out more about it first though and then think about starting training after Mini2 arrives!

I have also now had my official rejection letter from VLM.

Aw, bad luck Cocoa Pop.

(((Mundanies))), does London Marathon still do the 5 rejections and then you're in thing?

It means you're in GFB see you on Blackheath for a snog

According to the missus there is something in the post for me today. So might be joining you if there is a snog and all.

(((Cake))) Great, I'm set for about 2018 then.

Fingers crossed for good news in the post.

I'll post you a snog, Cake

Wahoo and congrats to the mundane VLMers.  So an outing of I like cheese t-shirts heading towards the mall in April then

VLM's loss CP, and besides it would have been a bad idea on top of Brighton.

We swim in a country park with the permission of the land owners.  Its not generally open to the public.  I suspect that it is linked to insurance or something, but it pissed me off big time that the others were allowed to swim but I wasn't.

Tomorrow night I am going to walk a stretch of river I have found and see whether that is suitable for swimming in.  If it is extra safe then I might go in on my own.

*padington bear special hard stare*  Now them young lady never swim open water on your todd if something happens no-one will know till you wash up on a beach somewhere. If you want to do some over the next few months and no-one will play if I'm free I would be up for it. Would have to wear a wettie through if thats ok. I'm not as hard as you.

I was angry last night.  I'm not stupid enough to swim on my own, especially in a stretch of water that I've not been in before.  It was more of a protest that the club is encouraging me to take risks rather than swim in the safe environment that they provide.

This evening I found a small stretch of river that might be suitable.  I will check out a bit more of it next week and if it looks good then I will be looking for someone to swim with, and another person to hang around on the bank to look after clothes etc.

I just wrote a post and my computer froze so it didn't work

(((Mima))) feel better soon I think boning a duck might help

(((KJ))) I hope having Mini back hasn't knackered you out too much! Lots of rest for you and MicroMini

Caz - I keep meaning to ask. Have you got through all of the cheese yet?

(((everyone))) 'cause you're all lovely

I officially have a chest infection. I have antibiotics. I also have a tri to do in three days. The antibiotics take two days to kick in...

((((EVERYONE))))

Hash, if i had been sucessful getting into VLM i would have defered Brighton. In stead i will do Brighton again and possibly this one Giants Head Marathon and Sydling Hill Race(the medal alone would be worth it).

Yay Cake!  A full on mundane snogathon in prospect!

*sends healing vibes to Bookie*

((hugs to all who need them))

I'm wearing tight jeans today - the ones with less elastic and more actual jeans material...I'm not happy!!

I also printed out a 30 week marathon schedule...Hal Higdon - (I pointed out to MrGFB that Fridays were rest days and he called me a slacker lol) - Jenn (still pregnant) said that I should laminate it and mark off the sessions with a sharpie...I got ridiculously excited and that shall be done today - it appeals to my OCD tendencies...
