Morning all!

I've never understood the need for six day a week schedules unless you're going for a super fast time, I've managed significantly sub 4 on 3/4 days a week and I wouldn't say I'm genetically gifted.  The one time I tried to run more I got injured

This morning I have been mainly breaking my experiment

this morning I have been mainly putting my payment details into the VLM website.

coco I might well be doing the giants head as well. Got my A race for 2013 two weeks after so would be stupid but I'm very temped for the T-shirt and also a chance to meet Gold Beetle.

Sarah has just had some very good news by the way and might be exciteable.

I broke my Psychology experiment  ...so I am now drinking lots of coffee and reconstructing it.

We are also hoping to do Goldy's race...but it will be the 10k-ish race not the mara

+1 to that.
Saffy

Yay and wahoo and congrats from the other member of the escape committee Bookie, if the news is what I think it is

Snogathon at Blackheath from the sound of it then

I quite fancied GB's 10K too.  Besides, waving pom poms for people running the other 20 extra miles still counts as arm work, so it's cross training.

Lunchtime lurking is sooo therapeutic, thanks mundanies I feel much calmer now!

(((Cake))) Well done on getting a marathon place, have a truly excellent time with it dude.

Sounds like it could be a cheese outing to the Giant then.

I'd quite like to interject at this point and announce that I have a laminator. I mention this 'cos as a Mundany, it has just occurred to me that I could significantly improve on the present security afforded to the cheese slice by its flimsy wrapping.

I have access to a laminator, but i dont think they would approve of me putting cheese slices through it.

I did once accidently put a sandwhich through the shredder.

brilliant CP

my one experience of using a laminator was that it had to warm up, so it might even be possible to toast cheese in one

I have a laminator.

Giantshead cheesathon it is then. I was fancying the long distance run myself but it's a week before another race that I want to run which should be pretty special. Oh the decisions one has to make.

I've only done 3 runs this week on 2 days, not including hockey. I think I should go for a little bimble this afternoon before I go swimbling.

It would need to be very thin cheese Bear.

afternoon all...killing time between my manager going home and me going home - really in no mood to do any w*rk.

I am officially ill - it sucks.

Cold Comfort Farm

any Terry Pratchett.

Used to listen to audio books years back at the nursery. Love all crime novels and all the classics really. Not sure if the radio 4 dramas are available as audio books, used to have some great ones on womans hr.

You could always get a personal digital radio and listen to BBC radio 7, one of my favs.

I'm feeling very old now, does anyone remember letter from america?

Any word on the good news

I've got the afternoon off oh yeah!!

I do indeed have a laminator. The only thing I'm really missing in the office is a shredder. I'd like a shredder

((MIMA))

I am doing the long route at giants head Mouse, I shall come last but who cares.

I remember letter from America, and the navy lark, round the horne, the clitheroe kid and many others. I have an account with audible and get 1 free audiobook a month but cant decide this month. Last month i bought "the Little Village School" by Gervasse Phinn, it was brilliant.
