No news people...it was a long shot I'd hear anything today so as soon as I know, I'll be letting you know.

Having dinner cooked for me tonight...I am a very lucky duck.

Good to be a lucky ducky

Now Mundanies, what is this Giantshead of which you speak?

Dawn - it's a man with a very large  and no clothes on.

This book has mention of it, and cheese rolling.

There's an echo in here

I do have good news, but it's not as good as it could have been. Still good though I didn't get the job I was interviewed for, but someone resigned and I've been offered their post instead. The thing is, it was only funded until the end of November... They're looking for additional funding, so fingers crossed! I'm now in a bit of a dilemma about what to do for the best... escape where I am now, but then potentially be unemployed, or stick with it. I'm thinking of taking a month's leave ('personal issues' sounds good) then seeing what happens...

Re. Giant's Head - I'm sort of tempted to attempt the marathon. There's no cut off (I think?) and it's quite a nice area for a walk

Laminators - hours of fun!

I think a target like the Giantshead would be good - cheers all

That's just to save the RW software the trouble of replicating my message again at a later date.  Although I can see after all the mention of laminators and shredders, that the copiers would be attention seeking..

evening all...... just checking in.

glad you're back DS, dont like it when we're missing someone, but realise sometimes we all need a bit of space away from everyday stuff.....

having serious thoughts about Outlaw next year....somebody needs to stop me buying 220 magazine...its dangerous!!

lots of love to you all.... and an extra big west country hug to anybody who "might" be lurking!...yes, thats YOU!

28/09/2012 at 20:33

Hello lurkee too, we miss you!

Mini is back, I think she was happy to be home as we had a lot of "mummy" cuddles today although I'm shattered and so glad she's fast asleep in bed.

I won't be doing any Outlaw shenanigans, or marathons, or anything representing any serious r*nning next year. There's hills round here so maybe once I do get my trainers on again (or buy new ones!) then I can work on my hills. There's a class called BuggyFit that I might do, need to find out if I can do it with a double buggy though!

Buggy fit sounds awesome!! As I am regularly watching little ones I'd love a joggy buggy!

I've made flapjacks...for MrGFB as he's out a 50 mile bike ride tomorrow (he's at the pool now) I told him I have a long training day tomorrow as well...3 mile according to my Laminated Colour Coded Schedule! (I may have to walk part of that!) I don't think I really need to carb load for that
28/09/2012 at 21:23

you definately need to eat homemade flapjacks GFB......as often as possible! NOMNOM!....(particularly if they're as amazing as your Fudge was!)
