I was also stunned that today is blue bin day.

i have a large marrow!!.....
*desperately restrains from making a Carry On style comment *
Today was blue bin day for me and Cake too. When I took the paper box up to the path a lot of cold water ran off it and into my shoe. Nice.
*waves emphatically at SOLB* Ey up!
You know that feeling you (perhaps) used to get as a kid, waking up and dreading school to the point of feeling sick? I feel like that about my job
(((Hash))) just 'cos.(((Bookie))) I do know that feeling dear brave Bookie, sorry its got hold of you, big hugs.
(((SOLB))) I just wanted to do it again.
In mundany news - they came for my black bin, they saw my black bin, they emptied my black bin - a veritable trail of happy making intent and follow through.
((Bookie)) - what job is that...is it the PHD?
It is the PhD. It's all turned very sour and I hate it with a passion. Probably the same passion I had for it originally...
I don't really know the ins and outs of these things but can you leave it? ((hugs))
I could, and I want to. But I need to have an income or I'll end up living in a shed
I seem to be subject to rules and obligations that none of the other PhD students are, and I'm fed up of it. Too much stress and I've lost all motivation
Enough sad faces, it's October. Which according to my diary is the month of The Cow of Wisdom.
Whenever you're uncertain, and you don't know what to do. The Cow of Wisdom answers, "Just chill out and Moo!"
Hopefully sooner rather than later althrough that would probably mean I won't get a lift in the mornings when I'm to sleepy to get my arse in gear.
In mundane news I have a visit from a big scarry boss lady today. It's going to be rubbish and boring as hell. With luck through I might be able to take the p8ss out of them without lossing my job?
x-post with Cakey
I could just start Sarah's Taxi service?
Go for it Cake!
(((Bookie))) having a job you hate is the pits, it takes over your life even when you're not there. Hope you manage to find something else soon hon.
(((DS))) 'cos I love having someone else with my crappy body clock on this thread.
Awww Bookie I don't know what to say chuck, hate it for making you sad though. Wow thanks you lot that was the least unmundane welcome home in the world!! I took a sleeping tablet last night cos I'd forgotten how to sleep ... I may have remembered now, what's for breakfast? Love you Mundanies *happy dance*
Breakfast? That was hrs ago - it's lunch now, same menu as breakfast just to make life simple though. Cheese and marmite toasties.
Ewww MOUSE! Noooo I didn't miss breakfast, surely? I want porridge with some blackberries that I 'liberated' from the farm house hedge *bangs spoon on table and gears up for a tantrum*
*casually lobs a bacon sandwich at SOLB*....ive just had a cheese roll.
in Marrow news, i think i might stuff it with cous cous and bits of bacon or summink, then top it with cheese. (obviously).
*jumps on SOLB for a huge hug*
Hello again. isn't it cold? Well, actually I went for a walk this morning and thought how warm it was. I feel cold now.
*leaps on SOLB for more hugs*
Oh and by the way I can certainly relate to that Bookie. Hugs to you hun.
Aww, I'm feeling the love missed you guysIn Mundane news I need one of those little circley battery dooberies and a little puffed up light bulb .... oh and food. I need food
