Evening all

Today MrKJ and I have braved IKEA (shudders), we now have somewhere to unpack all the sheets and towels into at last.
Mini found her bobble hat earlier, I'd had to sneak it in the wash last night after it had been liberally covered in custard and gravy. I do believe she's gone to bed in it after having a huge meltdown on MrKJ when he tried to remove it.

Are Jenn & Harrison home now GFB? Is Esme enjoying being a big sister?

Glad the curry was good Hash.

Hugs for SOLB, just thinking about cycling 16 miles makes me want a nap. Hope you're ok lovely. ((()))

And hugs for everyone else, I have read back but have the attention span of a small flea at the mo ((()))

I can't sign up to any races until my body and mind behave for at least 6 months otherwise its an expensive route to disappointment.
I was feeling smug about the asthma going away yesterday but it all went wrong again on my cycle ride today and I needed to be rescued after just 6 miles. Feel pretty ill now and I'm having to work hard on not feeling sorry for myself ... especially as it might be a freak one off!

Big love to all the mundanies.
B did I miss it, how was your time away?

(i cycled the same route without melting down a couple of days ago) I like cycling cos I love standing up on the pedals and flying down hills without the slightest hint of applying the brakes wish I'd tried it earlier!

DS, I'll find a way to make the pom poms glow in the dark just for you *mwah*

SOLB, asthma can be like that.  You probably pushed yourself a little harder than last time, or there was a bit more pollution or pollen in the air.  Don't let one incident put you off.  You have to keep trying, but maybe not quite as hard next time.

If it's any consulation, my astham, which hasn't played up for years, seems to ahve come back.  I was very wheezy when I finished my workout at the gym, and I didn't do anything that taxed my lungs - no cardio at all.

Thanks guys, Aww DS they are amazing!!
I've had some spotty cuddles this evening or rather I ignored the spotty cuddle giver as he tried to get on my lap and make me play ball. I'll have to play doubly hard next time to make up for it

I'm OK really, it's not a problem in the grand scheme of things I was just a bit disappointed

Hope your asthma settles SCaz

Me    Er, well, apart from the last 20 miles  I've signed up for the 10K.

Yeah, those last 20 are going to be pesky.

Did you have a hot dog KJ? Meatballs?

I've had a lovely day, I met up with some friends from our club who moved away but have come to run the Chester Marathon tomorrow, and some other friends with whom they're staying, and spent a pleasant hour drinking coffee and chatting. I showed them Polly Peugot before going on a mini shopping spree and getting 2 new shirts and a pair of Asics 2160s form the outlet village.

That's one of my fave's ...you can't not dance to it!

I never knew there were official dance moves!
The wedding reception was lovely, fab food and an opportunity to dance Cake did his best to get me drunk (apparently he thinks I'd be a bossy drunk. Moi?!) but his plan failed. He however did partake of several drinkies.
In other news, Cake is still asleep. I'm contemplating accidentally making lots of noise...
