White methinks.

Home alone here, Blouse has gone off to see a band I quite like, but not enough to gatecrash a boys' night for.  I had a really good attempt at looking downtrodden and sad about being left alone, it was only the big grin that kept erupting at the thought of a night of bad telly and foruming/FBing that gave me away

GFB I will find you the B&B details, promise.

Poor abandoned Hash.

I'm feeling a bit sick, soooo tired can I have a cuddle and a snooze in the nest?

*Makes room on the sofa for both solb and Hash*

Snuggle up my darlings.  Us lonely ones will look after each other

Now now my lovely mundanies, Mini2 isn't due for another 13 days, and the original Mini was 13 days late so don't get too excited, it could be another 3.5 weeks.

A nest sounds a fabulous idea, I was wishing for one this morning rather than having to get up and go to music class. MrKJ has come back from Germany, this time he's dying of toothache. At least that's not contagious.

((everyone))

GFB...we have stayed in a variety of hotels, I think you are better off near the finish. As you know the start is runners only, and the travel to the start for runners is always very slick.

Now we go to the same hotel every time it is just behind The Tower of London. I like to walk over Tower Bridge to London Bridge station but the dlr is there if I'm late. Mrs P and pj have a huge breakfast and then stroll out to Tower Bridge to watch the race.

I have done nothing but argue with people all day.

Must be something in the air Mr. P.

I have now swumbled and taught someone to fly. That was very good of me.  I have a cat trying to join me here, bit awkward as I have the keyboard on my lap.

Taught someone to fly??

Morning mundanies

So much for me forumming and FBing last night.  I shifted some of the north face of the ironing in front of the new Dallas (yes it's as bad as you'd imagine, and JR is not wearing well).  Then I settled down with the laptop to catch up on Downton Abbey.   The outcome was predictable.  ZZZZzzzzz

GFB I've found the e-mail addresses of a couple of mums who do the B&B, will PM them to you.

Tea's up

Thank you hash. Strangled eggs? Ketchup.

Well. The new bin system is in disarray already. The new boxes went uncollected yesterday and the council is already putting forward its "teething troubles" defence. The firm running it has confessed it is losing money on this contract too. I worry for the future.

In cheese news I got some Robochon last night to make Tartiflette but it looked a bit time consuming so I will do it tonight.

Good Morning. It appears to be wetting and I'm going out to run round in little circles soon. Then it's Christmas shopping.

I bought a skort on line, I bought the xs but it's too big. I have the sewing machine out trying to make adjustments bit I don't think it's working too well.  This sewing machine does not really cope with lycra and when I bought it that was specifically what I asked for and was assured what it did. I'm going to steel my old machine back as that was better.

It's not wetting here ... it'll be raining in the shower once I get my lazy little self in there though!

I have a tummy ache, ouchie

13/10/2012 at 15:00

I haven't wet myself here either

Looks like it could rain any minute though

13/10/2012 at 17:32

I have run around in circles chasing my tail.

I have also been shopping and bouht a new outfit, little tartan mini skirt, black leggings and a black and white striped shirt, all for under £7 from the charity shops. (All age 10 - 11 aas well, I don't fit into adult clothes. I saw this little bustier, tried it on and realised I didn't have enough pairs of socks to pad it out.  It would have gone really well with the outfit as well. boo).

It did wet here. Well, in central Sheffield. Not here, here. There was a rainbow

I have a headache. Cake hit me on the head with a 1.5 litre tub of lemon cheesecake icecream - accidentally of course, and in the middle of Tesco. You can't make these things up

13/10/2012 at 18:10

Ooo lemon cheesecake ice cream sounds nice but not for headbanging

In Mundane news it is now wetting

13/10/2012 at 18:21

I have just been headbanging to KISS.

13/10/2012 at 18:28

My head is banging. I could do with a kiss.

I don't like Jerry Hall, she's very annoying.

Thankfully I have a huge list of things to be done so can wander in and out of the room whilst she speaks. I'm about to drape lots of fairy lights around the dining room.

I have concocted an amazing beverage: half a glass of vintage still cider (which is way too sharp to drink on it's own for me) mixed with half a glass of Jamaican ginger beer. Lush
