My left eye is still weepy, but not as bad as yesterday and I have cheese with a baked potato for lunch.

I have finally made it to the doctors surgery so I can resume getting my repeat prescriptions.

I am angry at certain individuals at work who are stopping me from doing my job.  There is too much work to do on a particular project before the deadline so they have decided to make things easier for themselves by reducing the work load.  i.e. they have decided that my role within the project is not necessary. What they fail to realise is that it is my bit that makes the whole project legal.  I've got an interesting meeting booked with the top bod on site on Thursday, where I am going to tell him that he would be a fool to release the project without the legal framework in place.

SC, my tins are in a low cupboard as I am not very tall...
I know what you mean about people getting in the way and not realising how important your contribution really is.
KJ, I know how tough it is looking after 2 little ones on your own. Even tho things always are manageable I still get worried

There appears to be another abandoned bin outside my house this week.  I might have to start up an abandoned bin sanctury so that they all get some love and care over Christmas

by 'eck, I have a kickstool so that I can get to my top cupboards

11/12/2012 at 19:02
I do too. But its not always high enough
11/12/2012 at 19:21

I can't reach the top shelves of the cupboards. I have a step ladder

11/12/2012 at 19:34

You have high ceilings and tall cupboards Bookie.  I can see how a step ladder would be useful

11/12/2012 at 19:40
I have foldable steps in most rooms - I can't open the windows without them
11/12/2012 at 19:43

I bet the butcher £5 he couldn't reach the meat on the top shelf; he wouldn't take the bet, said the steaks were too high.

Or are Moat People an ethnic group that have interbred in the wilderness somewhere?

11/12/2012 at 20:01

Ah - not spiders then. Octopi.

11/12/2012 at 20:36

For those tall enough to reach we have some new emoticons ^^^

11/12/2012 at 20:55

In addition to having a ladder, I have a tall husband

There is a Christmas tree in the CakeBook house!  (copied and pasted 'cause I know not how to do 'em)

That didn't work for me. I still can't see them in IE, only chrome.

I tell a lie, I can see them now. Must've been Norton, it's just done some spring cleaning.
