The backdoor mat is floating
Urgh, sincerely hope that you don't, Bookie!
well we'll throw up all over them before they have a chance to do it to us
- he's been poorly for a few days but got really bad so the out of hours doctor told us to take him to A&E. Spent 9 hours there being observed (or not, but that's a whole other rant) until we could bring him home again, I then fretted all night as he was wheezing, coughing and so unhappy. Dr said we're in the worst few days so hopefully he'll be on the mend soon but it could take 6 weeks for the cough to clear, in the meantime we have a fast pass to go straight back to the acute ward if he's not better.Happy birthday to MrGFB.Hope you're feeling better Caz.Hope your race was good Hash.Hugs to everyone else as my memory remains tiny.Happy new year to all you lovely mundanies, I intend to be fast asleep when the clock strikes midnight! xx
(((KJ))) Poor Harry, what a worry
We're also a little infected in the Dawn Bubble, so being quite quiet at the moment. I just wanted to pop i though and say that this year has been so much better for having been a Mundany, especially getting to meet so many of you guys - thanks all.
KJ when we had to go to A&E (or Deadly Trauma Room or whatever they call it this week) it was full of poorly kids, it's a disgrace, there should be 24 hour cover for children away from the hurly burly of casualty.
*waves poorly hand*
Thanks for all the kind thoughts guys. My stomach was settled enough for me to go to work today but only because I knew that it was going to be a quiet day with nobody else in to hear my stomach gurgling.
Went to the supermarket to stock up on bland foods and felt faint carrying the shopping back to the car, so I'm doing nothing this evening except resting
Bland food and resting sounds like just what you need Caz, look after yourself.
Hope Harry's okay KJ and what Mr P said.
DS lovely to meet you and Mrs DS tooThe race was surprisingly okay once I stopped wibbling and got going. Only one nasty hill, only 5 miles, and I got the only medal I'll ever get bearing the word "tri" (even if it wasn't one and was only a road race). Plus I wasn't last by a long chalk, much to my surprise/relief!I shall be attempting to sparkle** until midnight, so if I don't get back in here until next year then hope you all have a lovely evening and thank you for being fab friends this year. Having you lot to natter to has meant a lot.**sparkle = stay awake and don't stand around swaying and yawning like a hippo
