(((Bookie))) DW = Dear Wife/Darling Wife - or even as Mr P said, Dawn Wife.

(((Bear)))

In mundany news - it's about 4am again, and I'm ironing - it's the way we roll here.

Bear all the very best xu

Morningish DS

Reruns of Downton over here. The signing woman in the corner of what's on at this time of the morning annoys me, which is probably very un PC.

Cuppa?

(((Hash))) Ooh, wondered if you might be here,  morningish to you too.  Yes please, a nice cuppa would be great - I've done those bits for you.

I just had an early morning type of thought, do people that sign talk in their sleep?

19/10/2012 at 06:07

Just made a fresh pot, here you go, and thanks for the fabulous flatness

When they're not dreaming, , do they turn their heads and hold their chins pensively?

*sips lovely tea*

Wanders off to learn sign language for bin and cheese, in a valiant first step towards bridging this knowledge gap.

And there was me thinking you were referring to either Dione Warwick or David Walliams

((((Bear)))) bear hugs for Bear

What food did you get Towner? I'm also nosy about what people eat

Cheese

Bin (although the closest I could find was ASL for trash can - I don't know how the British do it?!)

..Bookeroonie, i had king prawn curry with egg fried rice, Mrs T had chicken chow mein and Ollie had chicken curry and some of my rice. we also shared a portion of sweet and sour spare ribs. (oh yea, and i had 2 bottles of "bishops finger" beer)

was nice.

19/10/2012 at 11:15

Mmm... food I've never had a prawn curry. I must rectify this oversight.

I went to the gym last night - my sore ribs did not appreciate the rowing machine  I then went to a lecture about how to use the university library  Being a bookworm, a perpetual student and having worked in a library for several years, my attendance was somewhat unnecessary.

The second part of the lecture was interesting though. Does Mount Everest actually exist, or does it exist only because we (the human observer) says so?

Big H had his two week check up today - he's now 11lb and in the 98th percentile!!

19/10/2012 at 11:34

'lo peeps

That actually went well, I've been put onto a combination of drugs and got a 90th birthday card for mummy Bear

I find prawn curry nice but a bit of a waste of prawns as it kills the delicate taste

Caz that swim looks cool but just checked the date's and it's the same date as a fell race I normally run up here so can't make it. Sure Sarah will be interested through?

KJ was the acupureutre person called ali or andy by any chance? There can't be that many around these parts and know a few of them with hippy stuff.

In mundane news I'm shattered today and the shower won't work at home.

You know I'm not really all that up on the presidential debate in USA but I saw this and it made me lol...

Bwah ha ha haa!!!! Madness! "I don't want to touch the sandpaper"

Bookie, I did that a couple of years ago.  Its great fun, although rather expensive for a very short swim.  The adrenaline high is fantastic! If you are seriously considering it then let me know and I'll see whether I can make it too.  We could drive down together

Alternatively we could do this one http://www.slsc.org.uk/cwsc/  I've already put my name down for a team

I'm absolutely certain it would be fun (in a slightly mad kind of way), but I'm also absolutely certain that I am NOT a cold water swimmer. I find the local pool a bit chilly  I'm nesh, apparently.

19/10/2012 at 13:44

Nesh?

19/10/2012 at 13:45

David has spoken to 2 Dr.s today and has some different meds to take and is being referred on to an enterologist. We'll see if anything comes of it. sits quietly and drums fingers on table.

In other news I still have a headache. It was black bin today and I think I'm having bad reactions to cheese.

19/10/2012 at 13:56

Nesh

Is this for the ulcer problem Mouse? Bad reactions to cheese?  (((Mouse)))

Someone has just announced that there are posh sandwiches going spare in the kitchen after a meeting. I want a sandwich
