Good afternoon, a rare daytime visit for me.

Today should be fortnightly grey landfill bin emptying plus the two recycling bins.

I guess this proves you aren't a vampire Mr. P - venturing out in the daylight and all

Bookie, I've just had a sandwich.  Cheese and marmite

I nearly had a disaster with bin day today.  I couldn't remember whether it was green recyling bin day or black landfill bin day.  it was too dark outside for me to be able to see which the neighbours had taken out.  So I stood in the garden pondering a bit (with my hand on my chin), then lifted the lids of both bins, closed them, pondered a bit more, and finally decided on the black bin.

I came home from work to discover that it was the right decision

I know Bear.  It could have ruined the whole weekend if I had got it wrong!

GFB, now that I am separated there is no such thing as a set of Scales.  Please make a note for the future

Mundane address.

The House Opposite,
Backwards Lane,
Roundabout.

That is a great address Mouse!

Caz. I think it was probably the hand to chin pose that helped you make the right decision

Ground well stood GFB! He should have given you warning!

Cheese and Marmite sandwiches are one of my favourites. Somehow they seem nicer if the cheese is grated, but that usually strikes me as unnecessary faff...

In Mundane news, I have a new tin opener

(Ignoring the Marmite aspect...) cheese always tastes better in a sandwich if it's grated. I have no idea why

Sorry gfb, SC did warn me that it was too exciting to share

Most things taste better when grated/sliced. Slices of apple are always nicer than a whole apple. Grated carrot is better than a whole carrot. It's a foodie enigma

I have rearranged my lounge.  There is now more room, but mainly because I have removed a whole load of stuff to the hallway

19/10/2012 at 18:35

so is the hallway now cluttered?

19/10/2012 at 18:39

No more than it was at the beginning of the week when it was full of boxes.  Hmm, I see a flaw in my cunning plan - I'm only moving clutter from one room to another
