Do we want to have a mundane social-type thing next week for zombies and supporters?  Happy to host at Hash Hall/offer shower facilities.

I'd love to.  What I'm not sure of is whether people would want to do the Friday or Saturday.  We're running at 11.30, and I'm just conscious that it's a bit of a trot for a lot of people to make it in time.

With predictably rubbish organisation, me and Blouse are going out for a curry with a couple of friends on the Friday. I really don't want to put them off, but on the other hand if people shout now I can book a table for anyone who wants to stay over on the Friday.  SOLB you wouldn't have to eat if you don't want to and nobody would have the slightest problem with it.  

Sounds like a plan Hash.  Do you want us to bring anything?  It seems unfair for you to look after us all when you have your own big event this weekend.  You probably deserve a weekend off

Liquid contributions welcome.  I'll knock up another vat of wussy chilli (it won't be hot, but i'll leave a bottle of evil smoking stuff lying around for anyone who wants to pep it up)  and it will basically be that with rice and a pile of salad.

Actually yes  there is something, please could people bring towels if you want a shower afterwards?  The washing machine is looking peaky and there are plans afoot to knock 7 bells out of the kitchen to bring a shiny new one inside, so we may be without one next weekend.

Is Zombies going to be muddy?  I really can't remember any of the details about it.

I'll probably come down on the morning, unless there is going to be a big meet up on Friday night.  If those who have a long way to drive from up north want to break the journey by staying at mine then that is fine.  I won't be able to share transport though as I am heading to London afterwards

I'm planning a very, very muddy plod next. I'm battling the muddy hill that storms up the side of the valley as my Sunday challenge instead of going long

The zombie run is off-road, so I fully expect mud (sorry Hash!) and there will also be obstacles. The website says obstacles are mandatory, so I'm hoping there's nothing with too big a drop as my knee doesn't like impact 

As far travel plans - I'd very much appreciate a place to kip on Friday night Same as Caz though, can't offer shared travel as I'm off to see Mummy and Daddy Bookworm Saturday night/Sunday

There's meant to be a festival at the zombie venue - live music, bar, food, etc. If people want to stick around there for a while?

Today I have made Christmas cakes. It's a bit late, but better now than never. It has brandy in it. I spent ages in the shop yesterday, hand on chin, staring at the various alcohol options. It's not an aisle I venture down very often and I didn't really know what I was doing  Smells good though
