SOLB, get moving if you havven't already.  Here's a kick up the arris *boot*

I'm completely puzzled.  A girl at work, well, she's in her 50's so technically still a girl, seems to have taken a dislike to me for some reason that I don't understand.  Today she gatecrashed a meeting of mine which she had no interest in and made no contribution to.  I had no problem with her being there as I was after ideas and feedback so the more people to provide input the better.  Afterwards she sent me quite a nasty email telling me that I must invite her to all my meetings.

I'm beginning to wonder what sort of company I work for.  My boss is a confrontational bully and his behaviour wouldn't be allowed in a company with an active HR department, and now I am getting hate mail.

I'm not upset about any of it, but I am completely puzzled as to why a perfectly intelligent, mature lady is acting like a teenager.  When I get a chance to get her on her own I'm going to ask her what is going on.

How odd SCaz, tell her I said she is a poo poo head! 

I haven't exactly moved yet 

The letting agency fixed my hot water today.  I was sure that there was a way of getting hot water independently from the heating but couldn't get it to work.  Turns out there was a blocked bypass pipe or something and the water from the boiler couldn't circulate around the hot water tank without going through the heating system.

I sent a polite email back initially, but got a second snotty one so decided that I'm not going to play email ping pong and talk to her face to face.  She was emailing me from two desks away for Petes sake, while I was in the office.

I've just been eaten out of house and home by kids.  I was expecting to be at the swimming pool so didn't get anything in.

On a positive note, it was all food that I can't eat on my exclusion diet, so probably best out of temptations way.

I prefer to think of it as challenging their immune systems.  If they can survive a few out of date 9 bars then they might reach adulthood.  Survival of the fittest and all that.

We've had two lots of trick or treaters, but were too slow to answer the door to the first ones so they went away. MrKJ is now helping to eat the bowl of sweets I'd got in just-in-case. It's raining now so I think that'll be it for the evening.

I've had my haircut, £38!!!!!!  Oh my goodness. I won't be going there again. It wasn't helped by a 19 year old helping me with my coat and saying "oooh, look at you" and asking how long I had to go. When I said I was 6 days overdue, she said the bump was still really high. How I didn't smack her I don't know. I think I need to go to anger management classes.

Despite my best efforts it looks like Mini2 won't appear on GFB's birthday.

What a mad work colleague Caz, sounds like she feels threatened by you, but very strange.

My tub of sweets is empty already; the others will have to just die of starvation on my doorstep! 

I can't eat sweets at the moment, but I am stock piling them in my drawer at work for when I can.
