 I do that Mouse!

I have spent ages hand washing items (I decided not to go down to the stream and bash it on rocks, the sink seemed a more mundane choice). It now looks like it might rain.

A spider walked my mat in pilates class this morning I used to be really scared of them, but now I am ok, though I wouldn't pick one up in my hands. The woman on the next mat picked it up and put it out the window as another woman was almost hyperventilating!

Any idea when the washing machine will be fixed, small?

My new phone has arrived. It's shiny and snazzy and I don't like it because it's different  Plus I can't use it for 24 hours because the sim card needs to be activated.

I'm not scared of spiders either, I just don't like hurting them.

A man is coming to look at it tomorrow, Sarah.

I'm sure you'll love your new phone, once you've used it.

I have found the kitchen sink. It was hidden underneath a pile of dirty crockery.

I have attention deficit, I have shaved one leg; painted one window; washed part of the ceiling and half the tops of two kitchen cabinets; done some washing up; (had to wash the sink and draining board first; cleaned one window (the one I painted)  put the lass recycling out but not the plastic, now I'm sorting out a wash, well I was til I sat at the pc.

My house is as much a mess as my head.

What you got Sarah?

I've had to come home from work, just not feeling any better and each cough ratchets up the headache.

One leg mouse? How did you manage that? Interrupted?  Lost your razor? Ran out of shaving foam/oil/gel?

I've got a Sony Xperia P, which is meant to be good. I'm a creature of habit though, and am thinking I should have stuck with the HTC... the camera is very snazzy

What's the matter Mr. P? I know you mentioned Night Nurse - cold? Chest infection?

I can honestly say that I've never got distracted enough to miss shaving an entire leg

No, I just got bored.

09/11/2012 at 15:28

'lo peeps!

09/11/2012 at 15:35

Shaving legs is boring. Waxing is far more interesting, if you find pain interesting

I've just put the ingredients of a lamb stew in the slow cooker. What's the bet it's a bit too late in the day to be relying on a slow cooker...

I've put some chicken and butternut squash in the oven.  The squash will go in a risotto or soup later and the chicken is just because it needed cooking before it went off.

I'm still not feeling very sociable.

Quiet in here today...

My new phone is working, of sorts. I still don't like it.

You'd probably like it even less if I rang it now to test it

Morning all.  A pot of particularly splendid Twinings has been made, in our favourite terracotta mugs which for some reason make it extra scrummy.  There's more in the pot if anyone wants some, and a loaf of wholemeal is chugging away.

Off to support the Sodbury Slog this weekend, waving from the nice, clean sidelines I hasten to add, not getting involved in any of that muddy nonsense.  Tonight it's tapas with TP & Co, with me an Blouse attempting to sparkle.  We've both been awake since 4am

In mundane news, we're flogging our old tumbledrier with a split filter on e-bay.  Only one bid so far, but 16 watchers and three e-mails asking if people can bung varying amounts of cash at us to buy it now.  Looks like it will be curry time next Friday when the bidding closes!

Morning all. Just found a really good wifi spot . MrGFB had a good swim (I found this out after I went to the results tent...I was stood in a really good spot to see the swimmers exit and watched every one...and missed him so I was freaking out!! Mind at rest now and eating a plate of eggs and bacon and ironically a nice cup of Twinnings lol!!) it's windy and warm here. Better than yesterday..it was over 30 degrees and were roasting our asses off...not good race weather. Going to get my book and a bottle of water and wait to see the pros come in. Have a good day y'all!

Well done so far Mr. GFB.

Grey and wet here. Should be going for a run. Have the kitchen to tidy. It's going to be a long day.

I waxed once.......NEVER EVER AGAIN

(((Caz))) *adds a shot of whiskey to the lemsip*

Waxing is evil. As is sugaring, and any other method of yanking multiple hairs out by the root simultaneously. Except when it is done on men, then it's entertaining

I can speak into my new phone and it writes what I'm saying #easilypleased
