*waves to chillies*

I didn't put my bin out today.  There was hardly anything in it anyway and I wasn't sure whether the bin men were working.

I'm supposed to be going down the gym tonight but I'm not sure whether I want to brave the weather after dark.  I've heard that its been snowing heavily in that part of town

SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW.

It has snowed here. A lot.

It is still snowing

A light dusting of snow is all that we have had. Been to Sainsbugs, had 2 slices of bread and a cup of tea for my tea. I really know how to live. May well go swimbling tonight if D wants to drive. I don't want to cycle in these temps.

I'm stuck at home.  My car is rear wheel drive and hopeless in even a tiny amount of snow.

Bookie is very sensible and will be alright

  Ooh yes *bounce bounce*

I'm alive! The drive took aaaages, and I skid a bit just as I was parking Home sweet home! Now to fret about Cake and the dodgy public transport...

Snow man competition sounds ace, did I already say that Mini has told me she "loves teddy bear mummy" - I eventually realised she meant the snowman in next doors front garden! Bless.

Was supposed to be going to Derby today but after the weather forecast decided I was not venturing out just on a jolly.

Hope you're all safe and warm - and that people needing shopping have it now.

I'm supposed to be swimming tomorrow, so I will be my own snowman.

If I can drive there of course.

Think I've already lost the snowman comp unless invisable counts. So little snow here, poo and pants. I might manage a snow mouse but it would be in miniture.

I have cheese and I have wine.  A cheese and wine evening.  How very 1970s of me.

My Masters swimming session is cancelled for 6.45am tomorrow, the pool closed early today and not opening until at least 9am in the morning. Will see about a little snowman building instead.

I had the evening to myself. I'm learning Spanish (Rosetta Stone) me gusta!! I had an hour and a half meself speaking into the microphone! Very enjoyable!! That's how we roll!!

Mr Saffy is already planning his snowman

18/01/2013 at 22:28

Hola! (that is Spanish, isn't it?)

Me and Cake have been for a walk in the snow. We had headtorches and sensible shoes, and walked around the reservoir to the Mustard Pot pub. The landlady gave us soup and chips and told us we were the only non-locals in all day We left, with me on a newly purchased sledge, and Cake dragged me half the way home

I'm now defrotsing in front of the fire and Cake is cooking Christmas pudding

Snowy hugs to all Mundanies *mwah!*

You sound very cheerful
Top man-hauling Cake.

Goodnight everyone, the latest launch is nearly over, and I will soon be able to rejoin the human race.

Go MrP!!
18/01/2013 at 23:13

I think I have snow madness *bounce bounce bounce* Either that or the early stages of hypothermia...

On the way home we passed a couple (me on the sledge - child-sized and blue) who we greeted with a "Good evening". They appeared very bemused

(((Mr P))) What's being launched? Or are you not allowed to tell us yet?

Aww, I think its lovely that Cake will pull you along on a sledge. I think he has a cunning plan of calling it cross training really.

Slow cooker is on, full of beef and veg. Managed to cut the onion up with no tears this morning and no I did not have my contact lenses in.
