More snow here, there's nearly an inch. Well maybe not quite but it's still snowing so we might end up with nearly an inch. I shall go out and build my snow man. I reckon I could happily say he will be at least 6 inches tall. standing on tip toe anyways.

Happy hunting one and all and happy birthday B.

Snowing again here.  I'm supposed to be doing my long swim in the pool but although the roads are not too bad at the moment I'm not sure that I want to risk them being worse when I get out.  I'm due for a 3 hour swim, and a lot of snow can ffall in that time

morning mundanies
Snowing here too. I will run in it later while it is all still fresh and white ... after that it can all melt so that I can drive to the gym and get the train to college on Monday - thank you!

Happy birthday B!!!
Mahooses of snow here, and it's coming down again quite heavily. I'm going to walk up the hill to the gym, then I might build a snowman
That snowman cake is fabulous!

My left eye keeps twitching when I look down.  It's alright if I look in any other direction

20/01/2013 at 13:11

Don't look down Caz!

I am thawing out with a mug of tomato soup after a f-f-freezing 10k this morning.

Happy birthday B!

Wow love the snowman cake

We haven't had any snow yet today

*Holds notebook above head with aching arms*

You don't realise how much you look down doing everyday things like washing up, laundry and internetting

Happy birthday B

We had some snow flurries today but more expected later, MrKJ is due to fly to Milan tomorrow so we'll see if he makes it.

Hope your yaktrax are working out ok DS, I'm going to get mine out of the box today and put them on my boots.

I am risking a run now. A good covering of fresh snow and it is still coming down. No yaktrax, but should be ok in off road shoes ... it's time like this I wish I didn't live at the top of a big hill ...

Yes thanks KJ. It was mostly cross country, but where I had to make use of bits of road/lane with compacted snow, the traction was great.

(((B))) Hope it's a good run that adds to your birthday fun.

No more snow since this morning, but more is forecast from about 6pm. If that sort of precision can be trusted...

I have been t'gym - my microspikes got me safely there and back The people who work at the leisure centre have been given 90 days notice for their jobs, even though the closure has apparently only just been 'suggested' as one possibility for saving money  Sounds like the decision has already been made

20/01/2013 at 16:19

Not necessarily Sarah.  You have to give staff notice legally.  If they wait until the decision is made then they have lost 90 days, but if they tell everyone up front then they can change their minds later.  It sounds as if the decision will be made within the next 90 days.

Not a good way of managing staff morale though.

I have registered everybody for Legends and you all should receive a confirmation email if you haven't already.  Saffy, I entered the wrong email address for you initially so Mr Saffy will get two, but I've corrected it now.  I don't know whether the correction will go to you or not, but all subsequent mailings should.

Thanks Caz, I've received my email

MrKJ has asked me to point out the error in my previous post, tomorrow he is flying to Turin not Milan. He is flying back from Milan on Wednesday. Apparently I should pay more attention!

Noted!

How is he getting from Turin to Milan please?
