Sorry to hear that Chillies. Hope all the ouches have disappeared by now.

The man-flu is still hanging on, I'm now walking into rooms and wondering why i'm there.

Hope the bacon buttie was good MrP, sounds very yummy.
Good that your boss is being supportive Hash.

We had more snow today, although thankfully most of it has washed away again.

Oh dear Chillies  I can imagine the conditions would have been really tough. I hope you're ok.

(((KJ))) I hope you feel better soon.

(((Hash))) I've missed you round these parts! How are the girls settling in? If you could ask, on the off chance that he knows, I'd appreciate any pointers on plate printers!

*waves to Caz and everyone else*

I've had to change my socks three times today.

*waves to Bookie*

I'm impatiently waiting for the photos from today to go up before posting about it.

I think Saffy was intentionally shouting.  But I wish she wouldn't.  My ears are sensitive

What did Microsoft Word do? (((Saffy))) (just in case...)

Family dramas are making my brain feel like someone's been at it with a whisk

I think there may have just been an avalance in the hills. The noise was horrendous!

THUNDER??? Where did that come from? You don't get thunder in January in Berkshire!

Chillies sorry to hear about the DNF, but it sounds like you took the sensible option.  Hope you're not too battered this morning.

I've e-mailed the t-shirt man to ask if he can to it, and if not if he knows a man who can.  If he can do it then I could pick them up from him and bring them along to Mouse's wedding, along with another pile of corks that our friends brought round last night.  Family drama don't sound good, hope all's okay.

The girls are really fab thanks, although they must be wondering WTF at the cold and now wet world they've arrived in.  They've destroyed the garden, decimated my herb pots and generally turned the place into a mud bath.  And neither of us minds one little bit, it's just so brilliant to see their little personalities developing, watch them growing feathers.  Slowly they're learning to trust us and they've started to come running when we call.

*several more paragraphs of proud-mummy ramblings edited out*

My costume for the relay swim yesterday, with one of my team mates.  Taken just as I had got out of the water so I look a bit bedraggled.

27/01/2013 at 08:46

An even better photo of the whole team in the hot tub afterwards

27/01/2013 at 10:28

Ah, so now we know what the fruit was all about.  Great photos and looks like you were having a great time.

27/01/2013 at 12:39

Fab photos Caz.  Tell me that water was warm?!

27/01/2013 at 12:53

The hot tub was lovely and warm.  The lido was around 1.7 degrees

I've been spending money I don't ahve buying swimming kit.  I've also cleared up the house and found two pairs of goggles and four swimming hats.
