Mundane thread

Morning all.

What a weekend of Mundane rescues! We rescued a frog that was stuck in a smooth sided tank in a wood. I found a large branch which we put in the water as a sort of ladder. 

The wind is just starting to pick up here too. Bye bye leaves... 

Morning all - we didn't rescue anything or anyone over the weekend...we are now fully back to work - just as well as there are bills due (the joys of being self employed ) First two appointments are a "no show" and a last minute cancellation *joy*

I'm starting Operation Lose Weight For Christmas today...I'm feeling all chubby in my jeans...ah well - we had a lovely holiday.  Now I'm back it's full swing ahead in getting the various Secret Santa pressies organised...I *think* I know what I'm going to buy

I've just had good news. I like good news

 In mundane news the roadworks at Deepcar are over!!!!!  Hopefully this means I can cycle into W**k again but bet the backet's put some somewhere else on the road. Both gran's commented that I was getting slightly chubby at the weekend.

 I did enjoy chocolate friday. I think I might make today worster sauce french fries monday in honour of it? Today I'm sitting on my chair slightly to the left althrough i might lean to the right later.

Carter are you all ready and excited about clown on sunday? I think i might be at the back of the field skipping and generally mucking about.

Yep. Currently tapering which I'm not enjoying at all, I want to run more than I am at the moment ! I'm looking to crack 2 hours but if I have a good day I'm aiming for 1:50, but it will need to be a good day.

 It's going to be cracking mate. I wouldn't worry to much about your time for your first one. Whatever you do it will be a PB.

Today I have done lots of productive things - and eaten. And yet I am still hungry. Humph. Think its casserole tonight. Christmas presents bought, done some washing, stuck stuff in the dishwasher, made the bed, written my race report, bought tights (although one pair is too small...bloody sizes are not accurate), had a sneaky lunch time kiss and a hug. Time to venture to the supermarket I think for chicken for tea. If I can be arsed.

(((Bookie))) is there an antidote to pineapple?   Were you in bed?  Was the pineapple in bed?   Was one of you upside down?  Was there a chair involved?   Could Marmite help do you think?  I'm overcome with pineapple curiosity...

In bed with a pineapple? I would very much like to be in bed, but I'll skip the pineapple if it's all the same I ate it whilst sitting in my office chair, at my office desk, doing officey things, and listening to Radio 2. I'm not allergic to pineapple - I've been craving it for ages! I definitely feel icky on it today though

My back keeps spasming after the gardening yesterday. Clinging on to a wriggly puppy for what felt like forever didn't help either!
