Afternoon everyone, including those lurking.

I passed a man in the lanes today who was spraying white lines around large holes. Looks like they might turn the dirt track back into something resembling a road again soon.

I bought myself some one handed shears today. Just wish it was warm enough to be out shearing.  I suppose I could always keep one hand in a pocket...

Or shear off your hand!

Wot about the trug, who's gonna carry the trug?

I don't have a trug  I do have a rather battered old bucket though.

I am quite likely to do that without having to try

Hi guys!

I've been on a jolly with work.  I was fed a three course meal, lots of wine and cider, a huge breakfast... and it didn't cost me a penny.

The bad news is that the urgent project I'm supposed to be working on (that is now overdue but I still haven't started on) is further behind than I realised.  I visited one of our contractors today and they have a lot more work to do than I had realised.

(((hugs))) to those that need them.  Tea and biscuits for everyone else

Q. What is happening Sat 2nd March. I know a prom along the walk and a stop off at a cafe have been proposed, also SC wanting a sea swim - I have put that idea forward and a few others, including myself are interested. So any one with any ideas?

Sea swim, we could go from Holywell to pier and back, I'll prolly not go that far, or could go from pier to Holywell and the tough ole birds can do the longer swim. I'll have a looksie to see if the cafe at Holywell is open, B might know. Any idea of time you'd want to swim?

Caz - that unintentionally sounded like you had a huge breakfast straight after a three course meal which I'm sure wasn't the case.

Reminds me of an unfortunate comment that a friend made which being as pedantic as I am I just had to pick up on - 'At the end of the day, you just can't beat a good breakfast.'.

Kev used to go in the sea at the lifeguard station (to the West of the band stand) up to the pier and back was about 1500metres, so depends how far people want to do ... personally I don't think much of the cafe at Holywell, there are nicer places, but I guess it depends on numbers and the weather ...

Ooh, it all sounds like great fun, I could have had a paddle, sad not to be there.

Good Morning all. I got up late and am feeling groggy for it. Have things to do today which includes writing a letter of resignation.

Dear Boss, your job stinks and is pants, I don't need it, would rather stay home so I'm off. Good bye.
