My race memento yesterday was a tea cup. But it didn't have a small kitty in it.
I was in Sainsbugs at lunchtime and they had a display of easter eggs for £1 - I passed a couple who must have had 30 in their shopping trolly!!
...you guys can help resolve a (very heated but fun) Articulate question/answer...what colour is a lychee?
I second everything that B said about lychees.
I described it as a white fruit...which started world war 3!! (with comparisons with banana not being a white fruit)
Missed you guys (((hugs))) *mwah*
It feel like weeks since I was on here although its only been three days
I think most people would call lychees a white fruit as they are most familiar with it as it is served. Its not a fruit that many people who buy from the supermarket and prepare themselves.
I don't think banana flesh is white. Its a slightly yellow, off white colour. Lychees are pure white with an almost black stone.
JB - hello, good to see you here again. How are you?
I'm afraid I have had a far from mundane day, been for a beautiful walk in the sunshine and saw some steam trains.
I haven't had any cheese today though.
I came in from work feeling peckish and was good in my snacking, no biscuits or chocolate. I had 2 pickled onions straight out of the jar. Followed up with a cup of coffee.
I am making cauliflower cheese
Lychees are the colour of waxy dead skin. I don't like lychees
scampers away like a cheese-crazed sport mouse
scampers away like a cheese-crazed sport bookworm
scampers away like a cheese-crazed sport Mr. Puffy
scampers away like a cheese-crazed sport small
*tries to scamper but falls over like a roly-poly-filled-with-cauliflower-cheese-bookworm*
(((JB))) How's your little 'un and his beautiful doggy?
And on a completely separate topic...
I shall say zis only once. What a waste of a good melon.
Eek JB, that doesn't sound good. I hope you are all better and over it now.
I think I should be getting ready for bed but I'm having too much fun making flowers.
It seems a little early for cheese.
