Madly it's still cheaper than train fare though.
to the pricey car fixing and to you not being able to come on Friday Mr P. Tons of luck to Mrs P for the interview.
At the risk of sounding like a character in a bad spy movie, SOLB your penguins are burning as we speak *taps nose*
Morning all - it's -1 here today - but a lovely bright sunny one
It's jump up and down on the black bin day (I've never done it - it's MrGFB's job...I think he enjoys it!!)
Ha ha, last time I jumped up and down on the bin it bounced me right off. It was the plastic bottle bin and they can be rather springingy.
It's not jump up and down on the black bin day! It's Chocolate Covered Nuts day. So there (that is true by the way, in America )
I've just found a panic alarm in my clinic room. There's a big red button. Must... resist... temptation...
I now have a hatred of patio windows. Poor blackbird just flew straight into it. Think it broke his neck. I tried to help him by bringing him in and laying him on the cat's blanket... probably not such a good idea, so I put him in the shed out of the wind but left the door open (just incase of a miracle) but I don't think he'll make it. Stupid glass.
(((Small))) That's sad, good at least it was the house of someone who cares enough to try - that counts for something. (((Bookie))) Go on, press it, you know you want to.
Don't think that worked

But it looks cool.
Once had a hawk chsing a pigeon, both flew into the roof of a glass house, both dead on impact.
Thanks for the hug DS. I was very sad earlier.
Mouse, this blackbird was being chased by another blackbird, probably a rival male. RIP bird.
I see what you did there gfb (it works if you click on it)
I'm incredibly tired and not looking forward to about 10 hours of driving this weekend, but it will be worth it.
Looks like I'm not going to be popular at work soon. I redesigned the audit procedure at Christmas because the previous system wasn't working. The new system is working beautifully... and throwing up some really major issues that everyone had been sweeping under the carpet for years. I'm beginning to get some glares.
Calling all Legends people!!!!
I was hoping to get there early and bagsy some camping space but I have to carry out an errand on my way up there so won't arrive until fairly late. I think I registered us for the 2nd wave, so you all need to be there and registered by 5:15pm, but the earlier the better really to avoid the crowds.
Who is camping? and can someone save me somwhere to put my 2 person tent?
I was planning on heading for home afterwards as I'm on duty at an orienteering event on Sunday morning. I'm going to have to see how it goes between now and then as I've been off work so far this week and still feeling really rough at the moment. At this rate might not make it at all.
Good luck to MrsP for friday.I am going to attempt to learn how to use a sewing machine, first I have to see MummyKJ to borrow her old one then I need to see if I can use it! Then I'm going to liberate her old Kenwood Chef to improve my cake making skills.
Poor birdy (((small)))
If we're there before you Caz, we'll bagsy you some space
I have to admit to being a little bit scared at the prospect of Legends. It wasn't exactly my finest hour last year...
Good luck Mrs. P
And good luck with the sewing machine KJ! How's your Mum? (((hugs)))
Good morning Mundanians and best wishes to all.
Yesterday my bin was emptied and I had some cheese with brown sauce on a cob. I suppose it's being greedy to expect quite so much out of today.
