Morning

We forgot to put the bin out

29/12/2012 at 10:26

I've just lost the plot on those things now what with my next bin day falling on New Years Day.  And when's my next veg box being delivered.  Do I buy veg today?  Life's complicated.

Our bin men have just been...

Morning. Love it Bookie

Our bins don't get emptied until Wednesday.

29/12/2012 at 11:55

I genuinely have no idea when our bins are next collected. I shall spy on the neighbour's bins in the hopes that they know

Same as me in those sketches - always just a minute too late when I realise.

Don't trust your neighbours when it comes to bins though.

  love it.

Our glass recycling bin was emptied today.  The crash could probably be heard at Cakebook Castle    I swear the neighbours have been putting their stuff in it!

Got a sore toe, Hash?  Or have I just not spotted it before?

29/12/2012 at 12:50

I wondered what that noise was...

Sorry Bookie.  On the plus side it's empty now, so there's lots more room for us to behave badly

LR it was a Chrismas decoration a couple of years ago, courtesy of a forumite more talented than me.  I liked it so much I kept it, especially as it was a sod of a job to upload and we had to involve RW Towers to do it

Hi guys.  I've returned home.  Been her about 3 hours and suddenly the post-event blues have hit.  I had such a great time with everybody and now I don't have anything to look forward to for a while

*waves to Red Squirrel* haven't seen you around for a while

Hi Caz,  Glad you had a good time - but it can be problem when it's all over and done.

On cheese news, I have treated myself to some Cornish Yarg, a cheese that comes wrapped in nettles.  A bit pricey but the justification is that for all the misery caused by nettles at summer orienteering events, I'm due to get some pleasure from nettles for a change.

I love yarg.  One of my favourite cheeses.

I'm cooking turkey tonight

LOL that was how we knew we'd forgotten to put our bin out.....the sound of all the neighbours' empties crashing into the lorry woke us up!!

Welcome back Caz

I've never tried yarg...

Since December 21st I've driven in excess of 660 miles. I have another 120 mile trip to do tomorrow, then me and my car will have a trial separation

29/12/2012 at 18:44

I've done about 700 miles too Bookie.  My back and arms sympathise with you.

It's more my eyes and knees that are bothering me. And I think I have driver's arse coming on...

I have just eaten Christmas pudding and custard

I think Cake is ignoring me
