I have signed up to my fitness pal thingy and it tells me that I only have 165 cals left for the day.

I was planning on a small dinner followed by a banana and a low fat yoghurt, may be over the limit. But as its my first day its just showing me the error of my ways.

Sod that CJ, for the price of 165 cals you can have 3/4 of a chunky kit kat

MrKJ is attempting to use Skype to call me, except he has no internet access. Oooops.

Sorry about your weekend Caz, but Hash said wise words as ever.

I'm coming to the conclusion that if I was after nutritional advice I'd turn to Hash - rather than the person who's doing it professionally - but then that just shows where I go wrong!

My Fitness Pal only lets me eat 1200kcal per day. Sod that!

It's very, very cold. Very, very, very cold. I have two blankets, a hat, lots of layers and a cup of tea. And I'm still cold. Still, British Summer Time starts on Saturday!

You're winning me back now with that kind of talk, Sarah.

I spent part of today discussing the calorie content of different alcoholic drinks, and came to the conclusion that where calories are of concern, everyone should drink vodka.

But not vodka and Iron Bru

Tonight I cooked a curry. Chicken, chickpeas, spinach, mushrooms, aubergine and courgette. I didn't think it needed meat, but Cake is a dedicated carnivore. It was yummy

Where Did it go? Goodnight everyone!
26/03/2013 at 22:57

Of course it didn't need meat - but then I'm biased - the other way from what Cake is.

I could quite happily be vegetarian. Well, pescetarian. I like fish and it's very healthy. Not for the fish though...

Where did what go Mr. P?

I'm being held hostage waiting for a delivery. And due to a calculation error with timings, I haven't walked Bear yet. So I now have a hyperactive and grumpy collie throwing tantrums at me.
It could be a loooooong day!

Still no snow here (again - right here) but it's bad everywhere else round the country.  (poor farmers and wee sheep )

27/03/2013 at 12:39

Cold isn't it! It's even trying to snow here, bit of a pathetic attempt really... looks like moths.

Living on a farm I know just how the farmers are feeling.   At least this year's calves have a nice warm barn to go to every night.

I have to go for my check up at the dentist later. *scrubs teeth one extra time for good measure*

Everyone must be having a very unmundane day today .

27/03/2013 at 22:08

I just ate a marshmallow.

Just in case anyone was wondering - the delivery did arrive safely
27/03/2013 at 22:56

hope it went okay Small, and that you held on tight to his thumbs if it didn't.

Just to sat that I may not be around for the next 25 years if the jury doesn't understand what I've been through with the BT call centre this evening.  It's been good knowing you all.

27/03/2013 at 23:51

Been there done that with BT - then moved on elsewhere.

We'll have a whip round and bribe the jury to let you off - can't have that messing up your birthday bash.

Not a mundane evening for me as far as being kicked was concerned - over 35s football that is.

I had a delivery today - Yodel (I've had a number of problems with them before, including dropping a case of olives in glass jars over a 6 foot fence onto a concrete path). The doorbell rang, and I put my guitar down and literally ran from the back of the house to the front door - no more than 15 seconds - the bloke was just about to post the card through the letterbox saying there was no one in. He got a wry smile from me I can tell you!
