Excellent cheese fair there, Caz.
Evening, I am eating cheesy chips
Yummy to cheesy chips. I had two biscuits but apparently have scoffed both of them without realising.Mini2 has a cold, poor love is miserable.I fancied winning that stash of running gear over there but it's subscriber only. Pah.
I want it too, not badly enough to subscibe though - I have a stack of carefully preserved mags from 2011 I'll just change the date and they'll do for this year too I am trying to argue with my bank for zombies, for once it's not the bank being zombies but zombies being the object of the banking
We could do our own competition £1 to enter and the winner gets the pot in running gear/marshite or cheese!! I am off to bed, night night pretty Mundanies (night Mr P - not cos he isn't pretty too but because it's been a long time since I've night nighted him Waltons style and I used to do it every night)
I'm tired but the heatings on and it's too hot to sleep. SuuKyi is being a pain and wanting to play and not come in which is fine but that probably means she will go to her other home, we don't know where it is but she's getting food from somewhere and it's not here. So now we have a house full of up and awake people and cats.
Cats can be very noticable when they're not there.
I've never had cheesy chips.
Today is wibble day, I have my start time and race number for Outlaw Half.
Hehe wibble like a good 'un, then when you know you've trained as well as you can - embrace it and have a great time - good luck Steady.
Having a few issues with logging in/notifications, but thought I'd say hi.
Sorry I missed the birthday bonanza of the last week. Belated all round.
Morning all - late checking in as the comedy duo who are my parents came to visti me at work...thing is mum's as deaf as a post so the people in the waiting room could have joined in the conversation as it was held at high decibels!
Happy May Day everyone!
And thank you for the birthday wishes I had a very unusual birthday! Cake took me down a lead mine, then we bought fudge and played Pooh sticks. Then we drove to Manchester to see Little Voice at the Opera House. It was very well performed, but not my cup of tea at all!
The highlight of my day though came from a visit to the GP. He asked me what I do, and when I told him he started telling me about some 'ground-breaking' research he had read. Apparently a study in Norway had found that a very small percentage of super morbidly obese people have an abnormal mitochondrial respiratory pathway that means their metabolism fixes carbon dioxide from the air into carbohydrates, in the same was as seen in plants. My reaction to this was: "Are you serious? If this was April Fool's Day I wouldn't believe you."
Several minutes were then spent with the GP searching the internet for the article, during which time he exclaimed "Oh for the love of cheese!" when his password didn't work. He eventually advised me to look for the article myself, telling me it would be in nutrition journals I read and that he was surprised it hadn't reached the mass media yet. I left with much skepicism.
About an hour later, I got a text message from my GP, apologising for telling me about the research and saying that it hadn't occurred to him that it might have been a joke, but it had indeed been sent on April 1st and was nonsense.
It put a smile on my face all day
Bookie you might be interested to know I'm doing the 5:2 diet...and really enjoying it...going into my third week now and down 7 pounds.

I had tuna on my cob today, but really it was cheese I was thinking about.
