Morning

Hope Caz is on the mend and SOLB hope you can manage to get warm.

What to do when it's going to be lashing down with rain and windy a feck?  Just in case it's not wet enough, go to an end of year 5 miler at Grafham Water.  Organised by scary triafferlete type people, all of whom can probably swim

31/12/2012 at 08:42
What to do when it's windy as feck? Go to work of course! Leaving a nice warm bed for yet more quality time with the M1. Humbug I say! Humbug!
I hope you're feeling better Caz (((hugs)))
Have fun with the non-scary tri people Hash For some reason I read Grafham Water s Graham Wafer...
It's so windy up here that some of the roads are closed

Morning and ((hugs)) to you all. Hope Caz is feeling better this morning.

It's windy as feck down here too and raining, again.

Not too bad here, drizzle, warm, no wind.  I just popped out for a tiny runette.

The car's shaking it's so windy, and it's full of fit-looking types wearing very little clothing. And me. Wearing lots and lots of clothing and wondering if the hat will stay on.

Is windy here but no wet. Cycled home in the wind but it wasn't too bad. Looks worse than it feels.

Today I shall start project patio unless it rains but first a trip into town to pick up D's script.

Going to cook cheesecake and suet pudding today.

My computer is a cock womble

31/12/2012 at 11:45
The weather is cock womble! And every ward smells of poo My hands have been scrubbed and sanitised to within an inch of their life, but knowing my luck I'll still catch the Norovirus from one of my patients!

KJ is mr KJ doing all the drilling and plumbing himself?  That's a right mission I hope you and the mini's are going to pamper him with tea and go ow and ah as he does man stuff. Is the wall brick?

The wall's plasterboard, we're putting the dishwasher in the understairs cupboard which backs onto the garage, all the plumbing is there on the other side of the wall so he has to drill through and do some connecting. I make it sound so easy don't I?! Really I don't have a clue!

Thats a lot easier than I throught it would be but still a pain. Had vision's of him having to make all the plumbing and everything.

I genuinely have no idea when our bins are next collected. I shall spy on the neighbour's bins in the hopes that they know

It was Saturday morning. Normal service from next week.

We've been in hospital with Harry - he's been poorly for a few days but got really bad so the out of hours doctor told us to take him to A&E. Spent 9 hours there being observed (or not, but that's a whole other rant) until we could bring him home again, I then fretted all night as he was wheezing, coughing and so unhappy. Dr said we're in the worst few days so hopefully he'll be on the mend soon but it could take 6 weeks for the cough to clear, in the meantime we have a fast pass to go straight back to the acute ward if he's not better.

Happy birthday to MrGFB.
Hope you're feeling better Caz.
Hope your race was good Hash.
Hugs to everyone else as my memory remains tiny.

Happy new year to all you lovely mundanies, I intend to be fast asleep when the clock strikes midnight! xx

(((KJ))) Poor Harry, what a worry

We're also a little infected in the Dawn Bubble, so being quite quiet at the moment.  I just wanted to pop i though and say that this year has been so much better for having been a Mundany,  especially getting to meet so many of you guys - thanks all.

((Harry))

((DS))

KJ when we had to go to A&E (or Deadly Trauma Room or whatever they call it this week) it was full of poorly kids, it's a disgrace, there should be 24 hour cover for children away from the hurly burly of casualty.
