(((Mr P))) *manly chuckle at Stavros image*
(((KJ))) Sorry, but also manly chuckle at mini tag team at work

In Mundany news, finally I'm whole again.  The 'orrible germs which moved in at Christmas have now left and allowed my sinsues to experience air again, and my knee which passeth all understanding has inexplicably decided not to hurt today.

In celebration, I have placed an assortment of fox's biccies next to the coffee pot, together with a selection of fine fruits and assorted cakes - please help yourselves.

Morning all - pmsl @ Stavros

Just back from a run to the bank and I called into a garage on my way back to grab a cuppa - the girl at the till said "are you with that girl in the red car?" me...no...turns out she had come in and prepaid her petrol (you have to do that here) and then she went out to the pumps and filled up - but the girl showed me - she'd put Kerosene (home heating oil!) into her car intstead of petrol and drove off.......I hope it doesn't go kaaa-boom!!

Am I the only one that has no idea who Stavros is... I knew of one that was the brother of Kojak but that was centuries ago.

Great news about losing the germs and the knee feeling better DS, long may it continue.

Oo er, I often worry about putting the wrong fuel in my car. It might not explode but may damage her engine.

I have just done an hour of core work. Now, let me at the pies!

oops re the wrong fuel. That may proove to be a costly mistake.

I am going to run today, If I run the 8.5 mile loop then I know I shall run slowly and not do it too fast and hurt my baby cows again. Just need to dig out my thermals.

Ended up being roughly 9 miles mate. was aiming for about 11 and running all the way home but got knackered and got the bus part way.  Got london in April so got to get a serious shift on if I want to get in the marathon training and ironman training this year. Hopefully got in a bike ride at the weekend and do anouther run home next week and build it up a bit.

Right cheers fella, I feel your pain. I went for an 8.5 miler cross country on Sunday, but just so deep and muddy out there I had to stop and walk a couple of times, only ran about 8 miles of it - legs were trashed.

Yikes re the fuel, it does sound as if it will be expensive!

Work today involved poisoning by deadly nightshade and a patient who shares their name with a serial killer. Take that people who think dietetics is nothing more than weight loss!
10/01/2013 at 18:17

I'm glad I don't share my name with anybody - I need the use of it all the time.

10/01/2013 at 20:37

I share my name with a show jumper, it's lucky that I've got a spare.

I see there's nothing left of the Buffet.

For Small...

TGI (nearly) Friday.
There's white stuff predicted for this weekend, we have a shovel, rock salt, wellies and a sledge - we're as ready as we can be for it!

I know to you it's not very far Cake but if i could run 9 miles right now I'd be thrilled. I doubt my ability to run for more than 9 seconds....
