I have entered twice (Once for me, and once for Monsieur Cake)
*bounce bounce bounce*
Good stuff, will I see you both at Stratford?
Morning all - well swimmed that SuperDuperCaz!!
I've entered MrGFB also (thaqt sounds bad!) - I have my deferred place.
(*please feel free to ignore this part of the post...self indulgent whinging ahead...
Well another part of the saga that is My Crazy Parents unfolded yesterday....it turns out my dad (the one who had the skin cancer and subsequent bothched surgery and then more surgery and skin grafts..him) - well he's partially sighted from a childhood illness...it turns out he's been going quietly blind in his good eye - and didn't "want to bother us!"...ermehgherd!! We think he's got cataracts which should be fixable...not sure with his dodgy eyes (he had choroiditis as a child) - my sister (who lives with them) read them the riot act and is organising doctors appointments...I wonder did he think we'd have to put him to sleep like we did the cat!!)
...as you were!
(((gfb))) 'cos it does get scary.
i can understand that GFB. we had a similar situation with my mum. Dad carted her off to the opticians and then the speciailist at the hospital. she's 62 but at very high risk of dementia.
(GFB) know the feeling well, oldies always say "didn't want to make a fuss" or somesuch.
Was going to swimble this eve but don't feel like it now, I'm sure if I went it would be fine. Have just messaged my big sis and now I'm getting over the tears.
GFB, you and your parents make me laugh, or at least they way you tell it.
CBA CBA CBA
I've just entered my next swimming event. Only a 9 miler this time.
Mrs hog-mousey you have turned into a cat since I saw you last. I don't like the tears, do you need cheer up socks too?
Oh Mousey (((())))Only 9 miles Caz? How do you feel after the weekends exertions?Hellooooo SOLB!GFB - loving your parents, I imagine you've been rolling your eyes a lot.We had visitors yesterday, they left me with wine and chocolate. I like visitors
My muscles feel fine. My throat and mouth feel less lacerated. My face is still sore and now peeling. My skin is dry and itchy. And I have no energy at all but I'm not tired enough to sleep.
I could do with visitors that leave me chocolate and wine, although the vending machine at work took pity on me and gave me two bars for the price of one
Somebody likes cheese
Somebody just put me off it! Only temporarily though I'm sure.
Loving the wine and chocolate fairies!
I have hot chocolate
Oooooo and HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOOKIE (oopsie sorry about the shouting, it's a bit late for all that *grovels to the sleepy mundanies*)
Love the TOTP photo of the smart lady licking the Marmite off her cheese.
(((Bookie))) Happy Birthday.
(((SOLB))) Just 'cos
In Mundany news today, I'm offering for sale: 1 sleep fairy - hardly used.
Happy birthday Bookie xxx
Happy birthday Bookie.
Just worked out why everyone's referring to Top of the Pops. It's Top of the Page. Must have my wits about me today if I can work that out at this time of the morning.
