Good news GFB! No idea then what caused the high blood pressure? Has it settled?

After the trip to the A&E on Friday, today saw me at the GP. He seems to think I have an infection in the base of my lung - more antibiotics. Joy

Hi all,

A quick pop in to post the below. My daily diary has little phrase on each left hand page. Today's was:

"A cheese may disappoint. It may be dull, it may be naive, it may be over-sophisticated. Yet it remains cheese, milk's leap towards immortality."

Clifton Fadiman, 1904-1999, American essayist.

Thanks IronCat! I like it that we're so renowned for our cheese obsession that people visit to tell us about cheese

As from April 1, I can claim a mileage allowance for cycling to work. Can the weather improve to make that a feasable idea. It might give me more incentive to train.

Ha, I wish I could've claimed a mileage allowance for cycling to work. Last job was a 30 mile round trip split shift. That's an awaful lot of miles. Currently my total weekly cycling is zero miles. I need to work out why it feels like I'm cycling through cheese.

Good news GFB; great outfit Mr. P.; JT, did you miss Christmas? hybernation does have it's drawbacks.

Hello mouse (Mrs Hog). Was there a Christmas? I was wondering what all the lights were about. I have a big bruise on my left buttock. I've discovered when I slip on the ice I favour a fall to the left.

*waves to JT* I still have fond memories of Tales of Toe Hat

I'm writing about diarrhoea.

Bookie, you get some lovely jobs to do. Having said that tomorrow I will be working on topics ranging from prostates to rectums.

Cycling allowance has not mentioned how much money per mile and some peeps in the meeting couldnot understand that there would be any cost involved if you cycled. They obviously havenot ridden a bike since childhood.

*waves to bookie* Toe hat is still around somewhere. She's a mistress to fortune.

I'm doing this by choice...

I'm totally fed up today. My immune system is crap. Cake must be getting fed up of me. I know I am

Bookie the answer is noting down whether they are pussy cat or tiger types of prostates in that they all have cancer. Pussy cat ones you can live with and it will not cause a problem for the rest of your life, but tiger types are aggressive and need to be treated to eradicate or at least control. Cancer research means always something new around the corner.
