Nice shoes Mouse!

Hugs Bookie ((()))

I'm still experiencing Mummy Fails. Mini turns 2 tomorrow, I absolutely adore her but she's clearly not entirely settled with Mini2. Whatever I do, I feel that I'm letting one or the other of them down. It's a bit rubbish at the moment, I'm hoping that the fog will lift as time goes on.

I'm tired.  Training is hard work

On a positive note, I passed my medical for the Channel today.  My blood pressure was 112/60.  I think that's the lowest it has ever been.

So now I need to send off the medical and yet more money, then I just have the qualifier to do and I am all set to go.

I've spent a good part of the evening watching an old episodes Most Haunted. Dark arts, girl child, slaughter, thank you Sam... I have got toe hat out of the medical box and stuck her on the end of my finger. She's about to type hello...

hello

I missed Toe Hat

Good morning from within the Dawn Bubble. *waves*

(((KJ))) 'cos the mini's wouldn't have anybody else, so probably don't worry so much.

(((Caz))) Great news on the medical, roll on the qualifier.

In Mundany news, it is bin day.

Morning

^^^ everything DS just said, except the bit about it being bin day.  That's Thursday, which to me seems a more binly day than Tuesday, don't know why.

Toe Hat is just and indeed

Pinched from a friend's FB status, this made me smile:  "Chris Huhne's wife has agreed to pay Richard III's parking fines..."

Good morning. It's run day today, not bin day.
Then it's work this afternoon. For some strange reason there are 4 staff on this afternoon, for 4 clients. What's that all about? We'll be tripping over each other with no where to sit. forecast is for rain so I can't see a trip out being on the cards unless it's MacDonalds for tea cos that's how they rock.

Glad preparartions forthe channel swim are all going well SC.

I am not a parent KJ, but as I understand i there isn't a manual or a "right" way to do it, you can only do your best, which you are xx

Morning all - back from the docs and cleared to run again  - interesting - my cholesterol was quite high but she said she's very rarely seen anyone with such a high HDL which actually makes my reading a very healthy one!  (I'm obviously just swingin the lead and looking for attention!!)

((KJ)) - being a mummy seems to feel like one guilt trip after the other...I assure you that MiniKJ will grow up loving Mini2 (my youngest two are 18 months apart so I do know what I'm talking about) - please look after yourself and stop beating yourself up...you're a fab mum.

Mousey...lovely shoes!!

05/02/2013 at 10:37

(((gfb))) I have no idea what HDL is, but great that you can start running again.

High density lipoprotein - good cholesterol

Coincidentally, I wrote about it a couple of days ago - blog

Morning! I am at home, whimpering when I move and watching the blizzard outside. Cake is nursing me with tea

(((KJ)))

I have a piece of Mongomery cheddar that is blue inside the rind. It is delicious, but how is it doing for HDLs?

Hope you're feeling better soon Bookie. My sister trained as a dietician, but didn't follow it up professionally. She's good for a bit of advice though as a few of us have chrones and colitis in the family. Not me thankfully. At least not yet. I do however have a poorly toe. A poorly big toe with large blood blister on it. Big toes are out of the jurisdiction of toe hat. She sends her love.
