(((B)))  Sound breakfast choice there 'B', but what happened to the other half of the banana?

(((Mr. P.)))  Have fun in Greece.

There were performing bins in the Eurovision interval, how fab was that!

Hope the partying went well at Hash Hall yesterday. Hope it was a birthday to remember.

Kalimera, Mr P! Have a great time.

Back from a fantastic weekend at Hash Hall.  Extremely tired now and struggling to stay awake.

It looks like there will be other Mundane parties soon as two or three people mentioned possibilities, so watch this space.

Likewise, excellent do and have had a nap to recover this afternoon.

As far as watching this space is concerned, I handn't mentioned anything myself but was thinking of seeing if there would be any interest in a gathering in Lincoln to coincide with our main Urban Orienteering Race.  It's something that can be done either individually or a group for those less certain of finding their way.  It's on Saturday 31st August.  If there is any interest I'll stick something up on FB.

Good evening from the slightly-blurry-around-the-edges SAGA lout.   Lovely to see those who could make it yesterday and to meet the mundanie with excellent taste in music as well as cheese.

Nothing on the calendar for 31st August

I think I'm on holiday that weekend.  My first holiday in 8 years

(((LR))) That sounds cool.

19/05/2013 at 19:19

Ooh tell us more, LR...I don't even know what an Urban Orienteering race involves

19/05/2013 at 19:58

It involves a race all around the city centre usually with a number of control points to be visited in order.  The map is a street map but without any text to show street names etc so it's not so much about using compass bearings as it is about keeping track of where you are on the map and finding the best routes from one point to another.  This was the map from last years event:

To give an idea of it this was a video that a guy made from last year's London race using a head camera.

Sounds excellent!

I'll wait until entries are open for the event then post something on FB.

My computer is being an arse and not letting me view those links, but I love the idea of it.  I'll have to see when exactly I get back from holiday

Oh, and gfb, I have collected the glasses from Hash, so let me know when you're next over

20/05/2013 at 07:58

Morning

Sounds really good, LR.......just no one please rely on me for any sort of map reading/internal compass type skills or we'll still be running around the town centre at Christmas

20/05/2013 at 08:09

Morning.  Day off for clearing up/recovery/fitting in the LSR.

The other good thing about LR's suggestion is it is mud-free

20/05/2013 at 08:41

Morning.  I like mud. But then I've always been a bit odd.

20/05/2013 at 09:11

Not sure mud free is good. Can't make mud pies.

Morning all. LSR needing to be done here as well. Don't think I'll get any bricks laid today the forecast is for rain. Tomorrow is betterer.
