I was thinking: A country's uniform is so bad that they look embarassed could be worse. Especially considering the Egyptian team's confession and the apparent 'outcry' from the US that their outfit is "too European"

Oh, I was quite looking forward to it

I'm sure that with Danny Boyle it'll be an absolutely inspiring show but I after a few countries parading through - I tend to switch off a little.

I hope the interesting stuff is before the endless parade of athletes, because that is really quite dull after the first couple.

I can't see me sitting through all that, then up to midnight, without falling asleep.

Maybe they'll do the athlete parade first? to keep the audience "tuned in"?
