An ambulance and emergency doctor's car have just got roaring up our street, I hate hearing that as obviously something serious has occurred. My dog Nemo wasn't happy either, he began howling in time with the sirens.

Well, hello there, boys - and a Happy St Andrew's Day to you!
I am off alcohol altogether at the moment - had to have some pretty intense medical treatment over the summer and my taste buds are now shot to pieces, so I don't like the taste of fizzy or red wine (which were the only things I used to drink!) So I shall join you but it won't take much will-power this year
It would be good if this little thread started up again!
