I actually quite like Becks Blue. It's about the best non alcoholic beer I've found. I might stick with this and hang around a while. If I'm honest I fell generally better now than I have for ages. What Rugby are you watching on Sunday Kev? Staunch Saints fan here so will be glued to the TV for the 6 nations all weekend!

An alcohol free Stowford press - I love the normal stuff worried about being disappointed with this

I've  been on the wagon for over 20 years  but then

i've got my waccy way of thinking so it is quite easy for me

to make alcohol invisible .

I think it  is a horrible drug that gets worse with age.

Thanks for that link Maddy. There is some ale there that looks worth trying.

morning

I struggled a bit yesterday! Fridays are fraught with trouble and strife in work, I escaped late again. The only reason I did leave when I did was because I was blocking someone in the car park (it is agonisingly inadequate), and I was due to pick up my grandchildren who were sleeping over.

I was soooo tempted to pick up a nice bottle of red, a little thought was worming around that 'January is over now, you can have one evening off", but my stubborn self took over and my sensible self reminded me that I couldn't drink with small children in the house. So I bought some chocolate instead  Today I feel quite

Morning

I seem to remember in past years 1st of Feb was always quite difficult - yes I have completed the challenge but doesn't mean I have to have a drink on the first - I used to have that battle in my head - this yea tiny battle because the challenge isn't over yet

Well done YOD.

I kind of felt like it would be ok to have a drink last night as its 1st Feb plus I've got 6 bottles of nice Bordeaux in the house.

However, I knew that if I drunk I would not run this morning. So went to bed early and was out running before 8am.

Will be unusual today as I always have a few cans to watch the rugby, but have offered my Wife to pick her up later which will stop me

Morning all!

Another dry weekend done and a good one at that. Watched Rugby all weekend on TV and live and those usually involve a Guinness or two.

How is e everyone else doing?

morning

well done Kev

Still trundling along here . Apart from Friday (which has usually been Wineday for me), I've not struggled this weekend,

(I was too wiped out after my long run yesterday to be bothered with anything but food and bed!)

Well done YOD on hanging on in there!

Evening

I think this last weekend was hopefully the main trial of the month I seem to be back rolling with no real interest in having a drink.

I looked at low alcohol cider is Sainsburies yesterday but decided that less than 1% was too vague a promise

So who do we have left thats still rolling for February?

04/02/2013 at 20:25
I'm rolling for all Feb Maddy.

I climbed rather than fell off at the weekend but intend to stay back on for the rest of the month if that's allowed....

I went back to work today after long term absence due to stress. I discovered that they'd filled a vacancy last week that I expressed an interest in months ago and gave me a complete cock and bull story as to why they didn't tell me about it.

Bought a bottle of red on the way home
