I'll probably give it a rest for the whole of Jan as well. I gave it up completely for 8 years, but then started again a few years ago after I discovered that giving up forever is classic alcoholic behaviour!

I gave up booze for 30 days just to make sure I could and it was AMAZING the amount of people who kept trying to get me to take a drink - my parents included!

I'm in!

You keep calling me KND! ;-)

Yup. I'll be the one at the very, very, very back but at least I'll be running in a straight line ;-) Are you doing it too?

Count me in. I will have 1 planned sabbatical - Mrs F has a birthday in January and it would be churlish not to join her on the day, so just in moderation...

Well if Jumping Jack Flash has said that he'll do it with one sabbatical that was the only thing holding me back. I also have a significant birthday during January. So count me in but I should like Saturday 13th January off please. If I can skirt around it, I'll not drink then either.
