Surely, given that New Years day just happens to fall on the 1st of January, this is a bit of a non-starter?

I will do a month and maybe more..
27/12/2006 at 21:48
I'll join in if I can start on the 2nd. No big deal.
27/12/2006 at 21:50
Whether you start on the 1st or 2nd is no big deal. Rules are made to be broken ;-p
27/12/2006 at 21:51
2nd of Feb...?
27/12/2006 at 21:54
Whenever....it's the discipline of giving it up for a finite length of time that's the issue, isn't it? Giving it up in January suits me because it's like a detox after the excesses of Christmas, but really, it doesn't matter, does it?

Feb, March, Lent - whatever floats your boat, my lovelies :-)
