I'm 41 now and I have never:

  • been stung by a bee or wasp
  • bought a house
  • been to a concert

I'm 42 and have never been to a football match, nor a music festival.

I've never been to an opera either - thinking of giving it a try though!

I've never worked in a bar or restaurant.
Never broken a bone

I'm 52 -

Never broken my own bones, did break my brothers arm once though.

Never been to Opera or the Ballet

There must be loads of ordinary things I have never done - but what counts as ordinary?

I went to the ballet recently. It was great and very impressive but I don't feel the need to go again. I've never broken a bone but perhaps that isn't that uncommon. Saw the first Harry Potter and that was enough for me. Worked behind a bar a few times- Enjoyed that. Bought three houses. Been to lots of concerts-one two days ago. Ahhhh.... never been to New York....but I have a flight booked there

Was the last bit just showing off about your holiday plans?  Is going to New York really an ordinary thing?

I've never seen it all the way through, when I was a kid I used to get too upset when he was sick, and had to be carried out of the room by one of my parents. I think I'll try to watch it this year, as its the 30th anniversary

I've never been to the USA, which always seems to surprise people.  I don't know why.

I've never eaten Tomato Ketchup, at least not on purpose.  Nor Brown, HP or Daddies' Sauce.  I've never eaten a pickled egg.
