Help yourself

Does anyone actually choose the toffee pennies?

28/06/2012 at 14:31

Thank you.

Toffe pennies, Yes please.  It's only the three sorts that contain toffee that I will generally eat.   Happily the two people I share an office with dislike those ones.

I'm not really a fan of Quality Street... much prefer Roses.... but if that's all that's on offer, I tend to go for those orange hexagons.

Roses are also good - do they have a toffee penny substitute?

I've got a tin of Quality Street at home at the moment - lots of slightly gooey toffees in there as no one seems to want them!

28/06/2012 at 14:49

I'll have the toffees, I also like coffee creams.

28/06/2012 at 14:50

They don't do coffee creams anymore - they were my Mum's favourite and she was rather upset when we opened a tin one Christmas and there weren't any.

I'll have the strawberry creams

28/06/2012 at 14:56

I didn't realise they'd stopped the coffee creams   Shows how long since I had a tin of Quality Street!

28/06/2012 at 14:58

Can I have the orange creams then please.

28/06/2012 at 15:05

I used to like the ones that had some sort of crunchy stuff in.

They stopped doing those

I don't much like any of the others, but will eat the toffees in an emergency!

28/06/2012 at 15:05

No coffee creams any more?

28/06/2012 at 15:09

oh can I swap one to the orange creams for the purple one with a nut in that used to be enormous but is now tiny.

28/06/2012 at 15:09

Sorry meant to say please.

They seem to do a green one now (not the green triangle, this one is oblong-ish) which is just chocolate. Bit of a waste of time when there are other flavours to be had!
