Rescued from last week (but still on page one, so that shows how dead the forum has become)

"race report" - fantastic wedding day in Sutton Coldfield - reception held at Moor Hall Hotel if any one knows it.

Flew to Las Vegas (strange place) for 3 nights before driving off  in a red Camero convertible to Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Arches NP (get the theme here?), Monument Valley and Grand Canyon NP.

2 night in San Fransico before 4 days on Highway 1 getting as far south as Cayucus before flying back last Sunday/ Monday.

Just to make you feel better, it did rain (from 16:27:20 intol 16:27:50 (Utah time) on Friday 15th

Back into the swing of things now, but not much running done in the last month

What a wonderful honeymoon trip you had Musky, so now back into the land of reality, time to pick those running shoes up and do a short trip........................ around the block. <img src='/forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif' />

I did a 52 mile bikeride Wed...the day inbetween bad weather.  Bit windy on the way out and for some reason back. <img src='/forum/smilies/sarcastic_smiley.gif' /> Was going to be 48 mile, however roadworks on the new bypass to industrial estate sent me on a detour <img src='/forum/smilies/thinking_smiley.gif' />.I ambled around the lanes got finally got back to the car and checked how slow i had gone, imagine my surprise I had done the distance in 3hr 12min. My last 48 miler was 3hr 08min. <img src='/forum/smilies/big_smile_smiley.gif' /> I should get out on the bike more, but really don't fancy coming back like a drowned kitten and blown across the road. Typical British Weather eh!!

Lexi, well cycled - what is a 4 mile detour afterall?

Back to this weather after SE USA was abit of a shock - got up to 109F on car display at Hoover Dam - we didn't get out!!

Don't worry, I'm back to save the thread. Or kill it off for good. I just realised I hadn't been on here for ages, what with all the other forms of communication available these days. And because I've not done much running, so it's not been at the front of my mind. I managed a very warm 3 miles today though and the summer do more/eat less campaign begins today. I even walked up the four flights of stairs at work.

Yep, I killed it.

How many times do you shock a thread before calling time of death?

Ssssssssh, I'm trying to sleep!

Resuscitation times vary depending on pre existing conditions, age etc, there's no set time, or number of shocks. 40 minutes of full on CPR would be considered a long time. Give it up guys, t'was a valiant effort at thread resuscitation.

In other news, tibial stress fracture seems insistant on not healing. Looks like I'll have to bin HOTH
