RG is out of order if he said that but I think that humour should be uncensored and we sometimes use humour (rightly or wrongly) to get through topics that make us feel upset or the overly pc society that we live in has made taboo.
I think mong IS offensive, I don't know the direct context though because I wasn't in the audience.
If it is as described, yeah he was wrong and it's shitty and low.
But please let's not censor British humour, it's one of the last bastions of speaking your mind we've got. And in other circumstances, it can break down barriers.
